Abstract: A card tray ejection mechanism for an electronic device, which includes a first elongated member rotatably mounted to the base, a second elongated member, and a driving member. The first elongated member includes a first end portion resisting against a side of the tray, a second end portion opposite to the first end portion and a pivoting rod located between the first and second end portions. The second elongated member is rotatably connected to the second end portion. The driving member drives the second elongated member to move longitudinally. When the second elongated member is driven to move longitudinally by the driving member, the first elongated member is driven to rotate around the pivoting rod by the second elongated member, and the card tray is ejected. An electronic device using the card tray ejection mechanism is also provided.

Abstract: A semantic ambiguity reduction system deconstructs the sentence into a number of basic word units according to predetermined word definitions and semantic logic rules. The semantic ambiguity reduction system acquires the semantic judgments based on the basic word units and the semantic logic rules, stores the semantic judgment if only one semantic judgment of the sentence is acquired, and determines a number of keywords of a semantic ambiguity if more than one semantic judgment is acquired. The semantic ambiguity determines critical information by searching the keywords in the word definitions and the semantic judgments being stored, and selects one semantic judgment from the more than one semantic judgment about the sentence according to the critical information.

Abstract: A computerized method implemented by a computing device that converts two one-dimensional data source controls into a single two-dimensional data source control. A target webpage having at least two one-dimensional data source controls is loaded from a storage of the computing device. Reference information of a first control and a second control of the target webpage are acquired, and one-dimensional data source and columns of each of the first control and the second control are acquired according to the reference information. The first control and the second control are converted into the single two-dimensional data source control according to the one-dimensional data source and columns of each of the first control and the second control. The first control and the second control are deleted from the target webpage, and the two-dimensional data source control is displayed on the target webpage.

Abstract: A method of embedding a binary watermark into an image and a computer applied such are disclosed. The binary watermark is transformed to a watermark sequence consisting of K binary numbers and the image is converted into a grayscale image, being segmented into several sections. K sections are selected randomly while each selected section corresponds to one of the binary numbers of the watermark sequence. In relation to each selected section, a sum of a first part of the pixels and a sum of a second part of the pixels is compared. Each of the selected sections having their result of comparison being made to correspond to corresponding binary number in accordance with a predefined correlation results in the binary watermark being embedded into the image.

Abstract: A method for calculating response time of an electronic device is provided. The method includes: obtaining a video file recording a process of change of interface displayed from an original interface to a new interface chosen by a user, the video file comprises a series of video frames; searching for a key video frame among all the video frames of the video file, the image of the key video frame indicates the point of demarcation between the original interface and the new interface displayed; and calculating a time interval from a first video frame of the video file to the key video frame, according to timestamps of the first video frame and of the key video frame, so as to determine the actual response time of the electronic device. A related measuring device is also provided.

Abstract: A positioning machine includes a base, a support portion mounted on the base for supporting a workpiece and a first positioning mechanism received in the recessed portion. The base defines a recessed portion. Two sidewalls of the recessed portion respectively define a pair of first tracks. The first positioning mechanism includes a first motor, a first coupler, a first positioning block, a first screw rod, and a first nut movably mounted over the first screw rod and fixed to a low surface of the support portion. The first coupler is forced by the first motor to drive the first screw rod to rotate to drive the first nut to move along the first screw rod, causing the support portion to be moved along the first tracks, and the workpiece to be moved in a predetermined position relative to the base.

Abstract: A burning system includes an indentifying module, a dividing module, a calculating module, an index module, and a burning module. The identifying module identifies bad blocks of the flash memory. The dividing module reads all blocks of the flash memory in sequence, and when one or more continuous blocks being read are bad blocks, groups the bad blocks and the previously read good block as a storage sector. The calculating module calculates a bad block ratio of each storage sector. The index module assigns a priority level to each storage sector according to the bad block ratio of the storage sector, and associates each priority level of the storage sectors with a start address. The burning module accesses the storage sectors in an order of the priority levels of the storage sectors, and begins writing programs into the storage sectors from the associated start addresses.

Abstract: A method for managing display of a widget, the widget is displayed in a form of a predetermined textbox on a user interface before the widget has got focus. When the widget has got focus, corresponding functions of the widget are executed, and preset original data of the widget is displayed through the widget. When the widget has lost focus, the display of the widget is reverted to the predetermined textbox, and inputted or selected information by the user through the widget is displayed in the predetermined textbox.

Abstract: An over-current protection circuit for preventing a function module from over-current, the function module obtains power from a power source via an input port. The over-current protection circuit includes a path switch, a current detection circuit, a conductor switch, a first control module, and a second control module. The current detection circuit and the path switch form a loop with the input port and the function module. The current detection circuit detects a value of a current of the loop, and produces a first control signal when detecting the current of the loop is equal to or greater than a predetermined current value. The first control module turns off the conductor switch when receiving the first control signal. The second control module turns off the path switch when the conductor switch is turned off, thereby cutting off the loop.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a database, a display, and several program modules executable by a processor. The program modules include a query receiving module to receive a search query from a user, a query analyzing module to analyze the received search query and determine a content of interest associated with the search query and associated content associated with the content of interest. Also include are a search module to search for the content of interest and associated content associated with the content of interest in the database, a sorting module to sort the search results retrieved by the search module according to the number of times that the search has been conducted before, and a result presenting module to present the sorted search results according to a screen size of the display.

Abstract: A computerized method determines similarities between a first image and a second image. The first image is converted into a first grayscale image, and the second image is converted into a second grayscale image, where a number of pixels of the second image is not less than a number of pixels of the first image. Each pixel of the first grayscale image is matched with a pixel of the second grayscale image to create a pixel pair sequence. A similarity value indicating the similarities between the first image and the second image is calculated according to the grayscale value of each pixel in the pixel pair sequence S.

Abstract: A method protects personal data of an electronic device. Different capacitance values between a plurality of points of a fingertip and an electrode layer of a capacitive touch screen of the electronic device are detectable when the capacitive touch screen is touched by the fingertip, and a representation of a fingerprint is acquired according to distribution of the detected capacitance values. If the acquired fingerprint does not match with any predetermined fingerprint, predetermined personal data of the electronic device is protected. If the acquired fingerprint matches with at least one of the predetermined fingerprints, the protection of the personal data is released.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a power input pin receiving a voltage from an external power supply, a load, and a surge suppression circuit connected between the power input pin and the load. The surge suppression circuit includes a first transistor, a voltage divider circuit and a capacitor. The first transistor includes a control end, a first conductive end connected to the power input pin, and a second conductive end connected to the load. The voltage divider circuit includes a common node connected to the control end, one end of the voltage divider circuit connected between the first conductive end and the power input pin, and the other end of the voltage divider circuit connected to ground. One end of the capacitor is connected between the second conductive end and the load, and the other end of the capacitor is connected to the control end.

Abstract: A distributed data management method implemented by a cloud computing device, the cloud computing device is in communication with a plurality of client devices through a network. Basic information of various data of the client devices are received and stored by the cloud computing device through the network. Whether a first client device is authorized to access a target data is verified, when the first client device requests access to the target data through the cloud computing device. The target data is acquired from a second client device according to the basic information of the target data, and the acquired data is transmitted to the first client device through the network, upon the condition that the first client device is authorized to access the target data.

Abstract: An electronic device with time update function includes a radio module, a clock module, an audio input port, a storage module, and a processing module. The radio module receives and outputs audible signals from the broadcasts of a broadcasting station. The audio input port receives audible sound generated by the radio module, and the clock module provides a source of real time. The processing module determines whether the signals received by the audio input port include current time information, and if so whether the system time is consistent with the current time information. The processing module updates the stored initial time with the current time information and adjusts the system time as necessary. A time update method is also provided.

Abstract: A touch method is applied in a touch device. The touch device includes a display unit, first infrared receivers, first infrared emitters, second infrared receivers, second infrared emitters, a storage unit, and motors. The first infrared receivers and the first infrared emitters are arranged on a first side of the display unit, and the second infrared receivers and the second infrared emitters are arranged on a second side of the display unit. The storage unit stores a table recording a relationship between identification and set of coordinates of the infrared receivers. The method includes: controlling motors to drive infrared emitters and infrared receivers to rotate; determining whether electrical signals comprising the identification of one first infrared receiver and one second infrared receiver are simultaneously received; if yes, determining the set of coordinates of the touch spot; determining an icon and determining the corresponding function corresponding to the touch spot.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a process whereby an image processing device may isolate an outline of an object from an image, and a method adapted for the image processing device. When the image processing device 1 defines a pixel point as a boundary point of an object, the image processing device 1 continues to search for an adjacent boundary point. When the image processing device 1 defines a pixel point as a non-boundary point of the image, the image processing device 1 continues to search for a boundary point from predetermined pixel points until all boundary points have been found unless it is determined that the image does not include an object.

Abstract: A LCD display device includes a LCD panel including a plurality of LCD units with trapezoid structure, and three sides of the LCD unit all include three liquid crystal molecules (LCM), the LCMs of all of the first side of the LCD unit constitute a first LCM array and form a first display interface, the LCMs of all of the second side constitute a second LCM array and form a second display interface, and the LCMs of all of the third side constitute a third LCM array and form a third display interface. The LCD display device also includes three signal conversion modules configured to convert three display signals into three control signals respectively, and three driving modules configured to drive the three LCM arrays according to the control signals and cause the first, the second, and the third display interface to display corresponding images.

Abstract: An apparatus for reminding a user of overlong access to a webpage is provided. The apparatus typically includes a communicating module, a timing module, and a control module. The communicating module transmits to a network server a request by the user to be logged into the network server, and accesses a webpage of the network server. The timing module times an elapse time of the webpage being not operated by the user. The control module sends a reminder to the user to operate the webpage when the elapse time has reached a reminding time. The control module stores information which was edited on the webpage and webpage content if the webpage is not operated again within a predetermined period, and transmit a signal containing an instruction for the network server to log out the user. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A positioning system includes a first mobile device and a second mobile device. The first mobile device includes a first wireless communication unit and an imaging unit. The second mobile device includes a second wireless communication unit and a location information obtaining unit. When an image is captured by the first mobile device, the first mobile device can communicate with the second mobile device to obtain position information, which is then included in EXIF of the just captured image.
