Abstract: A periodic and automatic telephone redialling system and method applicable to a dial-type communication device is proposed to provide a periodic and automatic telephone redialling procedure on phone numbers previously dialled by a user but failed to get through to the receiver. The advantages of this periodic and automatic telephone redialling system and method are that the user does not have to activate the redialling procedure manually, and the redialling procedure can be performed periodically for one or more phone numbers.

Abstract: A mobile Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) phone communication system and method allows users to make mobile communication via mobile VoIP phones. A local mobile VoIP server is established in at least one specific communication zone and at least a central mobile VoIP server for coordinating the local mobile VoIP server in each zone is established. The mobile VoIP phone logins to the local mobile VoIP server in a specific communication zone to which the mobile VoIP phone enters, so the local mobile VoIP server identifies the mobile VoIP server in the zone and stores identification information of the identified mobile VoIP phone.

Abstract: A method for selecting songs is provided, which is applied in an audio playback device. The method comprises obtaining a song file linked with the song title according to the song title selected by a user; reading a section from the song file according to the section of the song file designated by the user; providing a corresponding section number to the section; establishing a link between the song title and the section number for the section; joining up each section; and adding the song file linked with the section to a playlist according to the selected section and an instruction for adding it to the playlist.

Abstract: A method and system for managing data transmission between an external memory and an internal memory of an electronic apparatus is provided. The system includes an interactive interface for outputting messages that indicate real-time storage status of the internal memory and external memory card. When an external memory card is inserted, the system automatically duplicates files stored in the internal memory to the external memory card, and deletes the files in the internal memory upon determining that the files have been successfully transferred to the external memory card by matching the file names of the files in the internal memory to the external memory card. The system further includes a clamping means for securely clamping the portion of the external memory card that is exposed outside the electronic apparatus to avoid unintentional detachment of the external memory card from the electronic apparatus.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for editing video data through marking during video playing so that image retrieval and compiling can be easily made afterwards. During playing the video, the user commands at any position. The system gets the corresponding playing time and stores it as a mark. Then, in the editing operation, the system rapidly and precisely fetches the corresponding video clip according to the mark for replay and compiling so as to save time and improve efficiency.

The connection dock has a movable latch pin corresponding to the coupling slot. The movable latch pin includes a head. The movable latch pin may be moved to a latched position, so that the head is confined by the latch trough to anchor the display panel body on the host body, and be moved to an unlatched position where the head is removable from the cavity, so that the display panel body may be detached from the host body.

Abstract: The present invention proposes a voice message processing system and method employed to convert voice message received by a network phone into text message to be outputted by a network device connected to the network phone, the network phone interconnecting the network device via a network server, so that the network server sends the voice message received by the network phone to the network device such as a facsimile apparatus for outputting the text message. Firstly, the user designates a communication number of a network device via the network server for the network device to receive a message from the network phone; the network phone receives the voice message, and the network server converts the voice message into a text message and sends the converted message to the designated network device; and the network server commands the designated network device to output the text message.

Abstract: A system and method for tracking a mobile unit with a GPS system is provided. The system obtains the position data of the mobile unit by communication between the mobile unit and at least three GPS satellites. Then, the position data is transmitted to the master control station through a local area satellite and stored in the master control station. The PVR user only needs to transmit the ID of the mobile unit to the master control station through a communication network. Then, the master control station transmits the position data of the mobile unit to the PVR and shows an E-map on the television screen, to show the user where the mobile unit is.

Abstract: An intelligent VOIP telephone system and communication method thereof used in a restaurant utilizes a VOIP telephone network to assist the management of the restaurant. The system comprises a main server and at least one VOIP telephone. The main server comprises a document database and a check module. The communication method comprises the following steps: correcting an arranged document in a main server, and transmitting updated data to the VOIP telephone. Then, the VOIP telephone updates the data according to the arranged document. The VOIP telephone gets a request from customers, combines the request and related data to form a packet, and transmits the packet to the main server. Finally, the main server processes the request and sends a confirmation message to the VOIP telephone.
