    Abstract: A method for fully-automatically aligning the quality of an image is provided. The method processes the video signals provided by the Video Graphic Array (VGA) display card in the computer system through the multi-sync display itself, and further interprets whether a computer host ID stored in the VGA display card or the computer host matches with a computer host ID stored in the multi-sync display, so as to avoid repetitious aligning to the same computer system, and achieve full automatic aligning to the quality of the image displayed on the multi-sync display. Therefore, even if the multi-sync display is situated under different computer hosts or VGA display cards and placed where an user cannot touch, the inconvenience of pressing a button on the multi-sync display to align the quality of the image displayed on the multi-sync display in conventional techniques can be prevented.

    Abstract: A pop sound prevention module and a speaker apparatus thereof are provided. The pop sound prevention module is used for preventing the speaker apparatus generating a pop sound when a power shuts down. The speaker apparatus includes an audio amplifier, an audio processor, the pop sound prevention module, and a loudspeaker. The audio processor is coupled to a first operation voltage. The audio amplifier is coupled to a second operation voltage. When the power shuts down, the pop sound prevention module outputs a mute control signal to the audio amplifier according to voltage difference between the first operation voltage and the second operation voltage. According to the mute control signal, the audio amplifier prevents the loudspeaker from generating a pop sound.

    Abstract: A method of integrating barcode information and EDID firstly inputs barcode information and temporarily stores the information in a first storage device; reads a pre-stored barcode rule and a pre-stored check code from a second storage device, wherein the barcode rule is defined with relevant data of plural codes included in the barcode information; then, respectively stores the plural codes included in the barcode information into corresponding storage spaces of the first storage device according to the barcode rule; next, determines whether a specific code of the barcode information matches with the check code; if the specific code of the barcode information matches with the check code, reads a pre-stored EDID from an EDID burning device, and integrates the EDID with the plural codes of the barcode information so as to generate a new EDID; finally, performs a burning operation to a display device based on the new EDID.

    Abstract: In a television having a memory storing a plurality of central frequencies of channels, a method for scanning a single video carrier channel includes: (A) entering a channel; (B) providing a frequency correction, which is set to zero in initialization; (C) reading a central frequency of the channel from the memory as a target frequency of the channel; (D) determining if a TV channel exists at the target frequency; recording the target frequency as a frequency of the channel when the TV channel exists, and otherwise executing step (E); (E) adding a predetermined frequency difference to the frequency correction to thereby obtain an updated frequency correction; (F) setting the target frequency to a value of the central frequency plus or minus the updated frequency correction when the updated frequency correction is not greater than a predetermined frequency bound, and executing step (D).

    Abstract: A circuit for eliminating abnormal sound includes a video/audio processor, a D/A converter, a front-stage mute circuit, a changing delay device, a front-stage amplifier, a back-stage amplifier, a back-stage mute circuit, and a micro control unit. The circuit is mounted in a display device connected to a DVD player. When DVD player plays the video/audio signal having HDMI standard, the display device will generate an abnormal sound (pop voice or declining voice) during performing an operation such as pause, stop or play. Therefore, this circuit uses the changing delay device, the micro control unit, and the mute circuit to filter out the noise for providing a better outputting quality.

    Abstract: A display monitor for a common display data channel uses a DDC access switch to separate the common display data channel, so that regardless of whether the display monitor is powered on or off, a personal computer can access the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) in the EEPROM, and the low-level voltage of an MCU in the display monitor won't interfere in the access between the personal computer and the EEPROM. When the power of the display monitor is turned on, the DDC access switch closes so that the MCU can access the EDID in the EEPROM.

A video decoder has a working mode and a standby mode. When an instruction received by a command input device is a panel backlight power turning-off instruction, a controller produces a control signal to set the backlight control terminal to the second state to thereby drive the LCD TV panel to turn off the backlight power thereon and set the video decoder to the standby mode.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method applied on displays for recognizing video signal timing of analog input. The present invention employs the horizontal-synchronized-signal interrupt value to distinguish among its inputted video signal timing, allowing to recognize its pixel and correctly display its corresponding video signal timing even when the inputted signal timings share the same horizontal frequency, vertical frequency, and polarity. In case when the display is displaying incorrect video signal timing, the present invention also allows inputting a switch signal to adjust its display mode accordingly, enabling the display to show the correct resolution of the video signal timing under normal operation.
