  • Patent number: 10949957
Abstract: A biometric image processing method and an electronic device are provided. The biometric image processing method includes the following steps: obtaining a first biometric image; capturing a plurality of grayscale values of a first portion of pixels of the first biometric image and combining the plurality of grayscale values of the first portion of pixels of the first biometric image to generate a first sub-image; performing an image processing procedure on the first sub-image; replacing the plurality of grayscale values of the first portion of pixels of the first biometric image by a plurality of grayscale values of all of the pixels of the first sub-image after the image processing; and performing a mask operation on a plurality of unreplaced grayscale values of other portions of pixels of the first biometric image to generate a second biometric image.

  • Patent number: 10810401
Abstract: A fingerprint sensing device includes a fingerprint sensor and a processor. The fingerprint sensor is configured to acquire a plurality of fingerprint reference frames. The processor is coupled to the fingerprint sensor. The processor is configured to superimpose the plurality of fingerprint reference frames. The processor analyzes the plurality of fingerprint reference frames to determine multiple first regions and multiple second regions of the plurality of fingerprint reference frames. The processor calculates multiple reference pixel values of the plurality of fingerprint reference frames according to multiple weight value functions to generate a superimposed fingerprint frame. The weight value functions corresponding to the first regions of the plurality of fingerprint reference frames are linearly changed.

  • Publication number: 20180068816
Abstract: A biometric identification system including a sensor, a front end processing device, and a main processing device is provided. The sensor is configured to sense a trigger event, and output a sensing data according to the trigger event. The front end processing device is electrically coupled to the sensor. The front end processing device is configured to receive and analyze the sensing data. The front end processing device identifies whether the trigger event is triggered by a biological object to determine whether to output the sensing data. The main processing device is electrically coupled to the front end processing device. The main processing device is configured to determine whether to perform a wake-up operation according to whether the sensing data is received. In addition, a wake-up method is also provided.
