Abstract: A hair clip includes first and second coupling members. An engaging member and a guide member are provided on an inner face of the second clamping member. A spacing between the guide member and the first section of the engaging member is equal to a width of a coupling portion on an end of the first clamping member. The guide member includes an inclined surface having increasing spacings to the engaging member toward a top of the guide member. When the first clamping member is moved to a closed position, a lateral side of the coupling portion abuts against and slides along the inclined surface into a space defined by the engaging member, and the coupling portion is received between the engaging member and the guide member.

Abstract: A hair clip includes two jaws each having a hand grip extended from one end and a connector disposed on a middle portion, and a coupling device having a spring member engaged with the connectors of the jaws for coupling the jaws and the coupling device together and for applying a spring biasing force to bias and force the lugs and one ends of the jaws toward each other, and for allowing the jaws to be forced away from each other and to engage with a hair of a user when the hand grips are forced and depressed toward each other by the user. The jaws each include an opening for anchoring the spring member to the jaws. An elastic member may resiliently couple the lugs of the spring member together.

Abstract: A convertible hairclip includes first and second parts each having an arcuate main section that has a pivotal portion on an end thereof and a coupling section on the other end thereof. The main section of each of the first and second parts further includes a clipping section between the pivotal portion and the coupling section. The pivotal portions are pivotably connected to allow the first part to pivot relative to the second part between an extended state and a folded state. The first and second parts are located in a common plane and together form a C-shaped hair band when in the extended state. The first and second parts are located side by side to form a hairclip when in the folded state with the coupling sections of the first and second parts engaged with each other.
