Abstract: A display device and a manufacture method thereof are provided. The display device includes a base, a display panel, and a shielding adhesive layer. The display panel is disposed on the base. The display panel includes an active area and a border area enclosing the active area, wherein the border area has a corner portion. The shielding adhesive layer is disposed between the base and the display panel and distributed on the border area. The shielding adhesive layer does not extend to the corner portion and therefore directly exposes the corner portion to the base.

Thereafter, a molding machine having a molding cavity therein is provided. A thin film is disposed in the molding machine such that at least part of the transfer material layer is located inside the molding cavity. A light guide plate body is formed inside the molding cavity so that the transfer material layer is transferred onto the light guide plate body at the same time.
