  • Patent number: 5216407
Abstract: A prealarm system is provided for an anti-theft alarm where a signal from a displacement/vibration detector is picked up by a one-shot timer circuit. If no other activation signal is picked up after the first signal is received a main control alarm circuit is activated for (1) driving a siren circuit to generate a short chirp sound as an audible warning, and (2) a flashing circuit to flash a light for a preset period of time as a visible warning. If the number of activation signals received subsequent to the first are greater than a predetermined threshold number, or the activation signal continues for a predetermined period of time, the main control alarm circuit is activated for driving, (1) the siren circuit to give a normal audible signal alarm, and (2) both, the flashing circuit for flashing a light and the dome light control to provide visible signals.

  • Patent number: 5207329
Abstract: A filling tray is made in a rectangular shape having three side edges formed into two vertical end walls and a vertical back wall and the other side edge formed into oblique flanges and comprises two elongated grooves transversely disposed on the top thereof at two opposite ends, a plurality of ribs transversely and latitudinally formed on the bottom thereof, and two elongated rails formed on the top edges of the vertical end walls. By inserting the elongated rails of the filing tray into the elongated grooves of a similarly constructed filing tray, a plurality of filing trays of the same structure can be attached together, with one rising above or behind another, for arranging papers conveniently.

  • Patent number: 5084697
Abstract: An error-free control circuit for burglar alarm detectors which eliminates false alarms and facilitates setting the sensitivity of the detectors by providing an audible pre-warning signal via some alarm warning device to indicate false alarms and impending violation by a burglar an alarm signal from an alarm upon actual violation by a burglar. When the detector detects a false alarm condition, a pre-warning audible signal is sounded by the alarm warning device for easy sensitivity setting during installation. When the detector detects the sounds of tampering to the car, a pre-warning audible signal is sounded by the alarm warning device to warn the would-be burglar that the premises are protected by an armed alarm. Finally, when the detector detects actual violation of the protected premises, the alarm sounds to scare the burglar away. By this means, an alarm detector can be set to give optimum performance under any condition.

  • Patent number: 4980666
Abstract: The invention is a two-step alarm disarming device with automatic rearming which uses sensors and buffer circuits to detect the condition of the car doors, hood, and trunk. It can disarm an alarm in two steps--with a signal input to an exterior key switch buffer for temporary disarming and a signal input to the ignition for permanent disarming. It is comprised of two-step alarm disarming circuits, a flip-flop, a timer, and a buffer for alarm disarming so that the burglar alarm can operate at maximum effectiveness without failure due to external interference or user negligence.

  • Patent number: 4975678
Abstract: A vehicle alarm control system built into a single integrated circuit, which includes a number of inputs including M/D-, INO-, INO+, H/T-,C.S+, and INC- which monitor a plurality of sensors strategically placed around an automobile; a fail safe/override/memory circuit which prevents the alarming of the alarm should any of the inputs become defective but allows the user to temporarily disable the defective input; and instant trigger override control which allows the user to cause the sensors to instead trigger the alarm after a delay upon the opening of the door; a main power cut warning control which triggers to provide an audible warning signal should the alarm be removed; a per-entry alert control which triggers an audible warning immediately should the automobile's door handle be touched while the alarm is armed; and a headlight on warning control which causes the alarm to give an audible warning if the automobile's headlights are on after the automobile's engine is turned off.

  • Patent number: 4926160
Abstract: A device which automatically locks a car's doors when said car's burglar alarm is armed, and automatically unlocks said doors when alarm is disarmed, and furthermore automatically relocks said doors should they be unlocked accidentally. Said doors can also be locked or unlocked via a manual override switch independent of whether the alarm is armed or disarmed.

  • Patent number: 4835518
Abstract: An active entry delay device which uses a wired or wireless momentary switch to be placed at edge of door or car door, so that the entry delay device can be initiated by turning on the switch; if the switch is not turned on before opening of door/car door, there will not be any entry delay, and alarm system will be triggered to sound alarm immediately.

  • Patent number: 4810998
Abstract: The interruption demonstrating and multi-phase burglar alarm system is started by signals from 2 or more than 2 detectors amplified and inputted into an interruption demonstrating circuit. By an outside interruption signal, the sensitivity will be properly adjusted. The device also has a multi-phase to detect in single or adjacent multiple areas. The two detectors will be activated within a pre-set period or will not trigger the alarm. The controlling circuit will reset the device in case of any improper or mistaken signals, thereby providing continuous protection and preventing false alarms.

  • Patent number: 4706064
Abstract: A burglar alarm with a multi-phase circuit, a fail-safe control circuit, an automatic rearm circuit and a two-step disarming circuit which applies a trigger circuit to trigger the alarm by sensors in sequence. The fail-safe control circuit informs the user that the alarm is in operating condition and is normal; the two-step disarming circuit permits temporary disarming and permanent disarming; and the automatic rearm circuit rearms the alarm automatically (if permanent disarming is not completed within a preset time after the temporary disarming) in order to protect a vehicle from external interference.
