The cap is mounted on the adjusting seat which is engaged with the ferrule fastened with the bicycle brake holder. The elastic body has a horizontal end which is fastened with the cap, and a vertical end which is received in a through hole of the head of the adjustment bolt. The adjustment bolt has a threaded body which is adjustably located in an adjustment slot of the bicycle brake holder. The adjustment bolt is securely located at a position in the adjustment slot of the bicycle brake holder by a fastening nut which is engaged with the threaded body of the adjustment bolt.

The adjusting seat is engaged with the cap via the adjusting piece. The elastic body has a horizontal end which is located in an arcuate recess of the adjusting seat, and a vertical end which is located in a notch of the adjusting seat. The microadjustment of the bicycle brake holder is attained by rotating the adjusting bolt to bring about a displacement of the adjusting piece so as to cause the horizontal end of the elastic body to displace in the arcuate recess of the adjusting seat.

    Abstract: The two-staged brake handle includes two axle bushes, a brake handle and a positioning stand. Two bolts are screwed on the axle bushes, respectively. The positioning stand has an axle center hole wherein an arc gutter is provided around the rim for matching the protuberant rim of the two rotating axle bushes. The top rotating axle bush has a penetrating hole and a bolt hole, and the bottom rotating axle bush has a penetrating hole and a round hole in the corresponding positions. An arc hole and a round hole are provided in the front part of the brake handle. Two bolts are respectively inserted into the positioning stand to interlock into the penetrating holes and bolt hole of the top and bottom rotating axle bushes. A twisting spring is installed in the space between the bolt in the arc hole and the bottom axle bush. Two end hooks of the spring are fixed in the bottom of the positioning stand and against a nut.

    Abstract: A bicycle brake cable tension adjustment device permits the adjustment of the brake cable only in one direction and limits the movement of the same in the other. The present disclosure includes a suspension member having a vertical wall and a horizontal wall on each of which is provided a through hole, and an adjustment assembly mounted on the horizontal wall of the suspension member and a cable fixing assembly mounted on the vertical wall of the same. The adjustment assembly includes a bolt-like member having a through hole in the axial direction which is provided with a tapered inner wall with the diameter thereof gradually increased from the top to the bottom, and a spring biased guiding tube having a conic bottom end with two or three symmetrically-located steel balls disposed in through holes defined on the periphery of the conic bottom end which is in corresponding abutment with the tapered surface of the bolt-like member.
