  • Patent number: 10871622
Abstract: A suspension system of a single-axis optical actuator is provided, including an elastic suspension plate in the form of a frame having two opposite ends each extended, through a beveled edge and a bending section, to form a cantilever arm. The elastic suspension plate is provided with a magnetic device on one side thereof. The cantilever arms are supported on a reinforcement frame to carry an optical lens. When an electric current is supplied through a connector to the magnetic device of the actuator, a reciprocal attraction or repulsion force is generated and applied to one side of the elastic suspension plate so that the elastic suspension plate may function as an oscillation member with an imaginary axis line between the two bending sections of the frame body as an axis to carry the optical lens to generate fast and position-constrained oscillation at two sides.

The first prism includes a light-exiting planar surface that is at an eye-adjacent side and is opposite to a light-entering planar surface of the second prism with an air gap therebetween and may serve as a reference for inspection of a free-form curved surface. The second prism has a light-exiting planar surface at the eye-adjacent side and parallel to a side planar surface of the third prism to allow an external-world image to be seen more clearly. Light from an image displaying panel first enters the first prism and is subjected to total internal reflection by the light-exiting planar surface toward the reflective curved surface to be reflected and re-directed to transmit through the second prism for image formation on a retina.

  • Patent number: 7090350
Abstract: An optical projection system can receive a red light beam, green light beam, and blue light beam. The optical projection system includes a color-combination prism, and the light beams respectively enter the color-combination prism from three surfaces and are combined into a mixed light beam, which exits from another surface. A projection lens set receives the mixed light beam to perform the projection. Each of the light beams further includes a liquid crystal reflection panel and a wire grid polarizer (WGP). The liquid crystal reflection panel is parallel to the corresponding surfaces of the color-combination prism. In the design, before the light beam entering the color-combination prism, they are first reflected by the WGP onto the liquid crystal reflection panel, and the liquid crystal reflection panels respectively with a polarizing state reflect the light beams, passing through the WGP and directly propagating toward the color-combination prism.
