The light dimmer circuit is configured to drive the second light emitting elements to generate flickering lights from the second area of the light board, and is configured to drive the first light emitting elements to generate non-flickering lights from the first area of the light board.

The data processing unit is used for receiving a transmitted data block and determining and generating a corresponding eigenvalue based on at least one data characteristic of the data block. The data outputting unit includes a plurality of print modes. The data outputting unit will print the data block in a print mode according to a print command transmitted from the data processing unit. The data processing unit calculates the eigenvalues with a set of corresponding weights to generate the print command accordingly, so that the data outputting unit can print the data block in the print mode according to the print command and, so as to avoid complex setting procedures in the user interface.

    Abstract: A method for maintaining the inkjet chip of an inject device. The inkjet device comprises an ink cartridge, a carrier, a wiper and a wiper stage. The carrier is used to load the ink cartridge. The wiper stage is used to load the wiper. The ink cartridge contains ink and has an inkjet chip. The inkjet chip has at least a set of inkjet nozzles. The method comprises the steps of: (a) relatively moving the carrier onto the wiper stage to locate the wiper to a position where the wiper can wipe the inkjet chip; (b) spraying the ink contained in the ink cartridge onto the wiper to moisturize the wiper; and (c) relatively reciprocating the wiper stage and the carrier to make the wiper wipe the inkjet chip.

The printing pulses control the heaters to generate sufficient heat energy to eject ink from the nozzles for printing data, and the non-printing pulses control the heaters to generate heat energy that is not sufficient to eject ink from the nozzles for raising a temperature of the ink. The printing apparatus also includes a print data comparator for comparing a percentage of data printed during a predetermined period of time with a threshold value, anda control circuit for varying the non-printing pulses generated by the signal generator according to the percentage of data printed during the predetermined period of time and the threshold value.

    Abstract: An inkjet printer includes different types of cartridges and different thermal sensing elements are set on different types of cartridges. The inkjet printer utilizes a detecting circuit to generate a sensing signal according to a working temperature of a printhead sensed by the thermal sensing element. Therefore, according to the sensing signal, the inkjet printer can determine the working temperature of the printhead. Furthermore, a control circuit of the inkjet printer can also identify different types of cartridges, as values of the sensing signal generated by different thermal sensing elements fall into different ranges.
