    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for making extended-release formulations of water-soluble active pharmaceutical ingredients such as metformin HCl. In one aspect, the disclosure provides a method that includes adding an aqueous solution of an active pharmaceutical ingredient to an agitated mixture of one or more release-modifying polymers and optionally one or more binders in one or more organic solvents, the one or more organic solvents together being an antisolvent for the active pharmaceutical ingredient, water being sufficiently soluble in the one or more organic solvents such that the water added as part of the aqueous solution dissolves in the mixture, the addition thereby precipitating the active pharmaceutical ingredient; separating the active pharmaceutical ingredient and the one or more release-modifying polymers and, if present, the one or more binders from the one or more organic solvents to yield co-processed particles; and drying the co-processed particles.

The method includes the steps of: providing coordinate information of a plurality of nodes and at least two kinds of map data; associating the coordinate information of the nodes with the map data to map the nodes to the corresponding positions of the maps; extracting spatial feature data between any two nodes from the associated map data, wherein the spatial feature data include spatial distribution data and spatial attribute data; selecting one of a plurality of path loss models according to the spatial feature data between the two nodes and estimating a pass loss using the selected path loss model, thereby estimating the communication quality between the two nodes.

There are two kinds of active materials, titanium together with rare earth elements and magnesium. The metal substrate is composed of a main component and an additive. The main component is tin-zinc alloy and the additive is selected from bismuth, indium, silver, copper or their combinations. The active solder enables targets and backing plates to be joined with each other directly in the atmosphere. The target is ceramic or aluminum with low wetting properties. The bonding temperature of the active solder ranges from 150° C. to 200° C. so that the problem of thermal stress can be avoided.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a two-phase flow heat sink. The two-phase flow heat sink comprises an evaporation chamber and a capillary layer. The material of the capillary layer, which has at least a porous structure, is cooled and disposed on the inner side of the evaporation chamber from a melted state. The method first sprays the thermally melted material of the capillary layer on the substrate of the evaporation chamber for forming the capillary layer on the substrate. Because the capillary layer is sprayed on the substrate of the evaporation chamber, the capillary layer is distributed irregularly on the substrate and forming irregularly distributed holes. Thereby, the flowing space for fluids in the evaporation chamber is increased, and hence enhancing the heat transfer efficiency of the heat sink.
