The second plate is combined with the first plate to form a first type chamber and a second type chamber, wherein the first type chamber and the second type chamber are sealed and independent, respectively. The first porous structure is disposed in the first type chamber. The second porous structure is disposed in the second type chamber. The first fluid is disposed in the first type chamber. The second fluid is disposed in the second type chamber.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a light source, a first prism sheet disposed on the light source, and a light type adjustment sheet disposed on a side of the first prism sheet away from the light source and including a base and multiple light type adjustment structures. The multiple light type adjustment structures are disposed on the first surface of the base. Each light type adjustment structure has a first structure surface and a second structure surface connected to each other. The first structure surface of each light type adjustment structure and the first surface of the base form a first base angle therebetween, and the second structure surface of each light type adjustment structure and the first surface of the base form a second base angle therebetween. The control device includes a control circuit, an operation circuit, and multiple driving signal generators. The control circuit generates multiple control signals. The operation circuit performs a logical operation on the control signals and an image capturing signal to generate multiple operation results. The driving signal generator respectively provides multiple driving signals to the illumination device according to the operation results, and the driving signals respectively have multiple different output powers.

When a trigger event is detected, the recording system automatically transmits monitoring information to an administrative console via the network. Abstract: An electronic apparatus utilized in stereo glasses is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a first receiver, a second receiver, and a synchronization controller. The first receiver receives a first synchronization signal, and the second receiver receives a second synchronization signal. The transmission mechanism of the second synchronization signal is different from that of the first synchronization signal. The synchronization controller coupled to the first and the second receivers synchronizes left-eye/right-eye shutter glasses of the stereo glasses with a corresponding left-eye/right-eye frame of a stereo image according to at least one of the first and second synchronization signals.

Abstract: Disclosed is a keyboard-video-mouse switch capable of detecting keyword input and recording video data from a computer and keyboard input data from a console and method thereof. The keyboard-video-mouse switch includes a keyword filter and a capture unit. The keyword filter detects whether a predetermined keyword is inputted from the console into the computer and the capture unit records video data if the predetermined keyword is detected. Moreover, the capture unit may record keyboard input data for a complete monitor. The keyboard-video-mouse switch of the present invention further includes an alarm and a keyword database. The alarm will alarm an administrator when the predetermined keyword is detected. The keyword database stores data of keystroke combinations, which is defined as predetermined keyword data for at least one input method.

Abstract: A server having remote peripheral device access functions for accessing different types of peripheral devices located on a remote host, such as USB, SATA and IDE devices. The remote device access function is implemented in the IPMI section of the server. The IPMI section is connected to a bridge of the server, and communicates with the bridge using a single predetermined communication protocol, such as the PCI protocol, regardless of the type of the peripheral devices being remotely accessed. An application on the remote host communicates with the IPMI section of the server to transmit the data generate by or to be consumed by the peripheral device using a predetermined network protocol.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to techniques for updating a BIOS image stored in a computer system. The BIOS image is stored in a flash memory and updated over an embedded system, such as a baseboard management controller (BMC). In one embodiment, a method for updating a BIOS image on a computer system includes receiving, by a service processor, an updated BIOS image over a communications channel, moving a current BIOS image from a first storage location to a second storage location, moving the updated BIOS image to the first storage location, receiving, from a chipset coupled to the service processor, a request to access the BIOS image on the server system, and directing, by the service processor, the request to access the BIOS image to the BIOS image in the second storage location.

Abstract: A server with network-based remote access (iKVM) functions and server management such as IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) functions include a system section for performing various server functions, an iKVM controller for controlling remote access, and an BMC for controlling the server management function. The iKVM controller is provided with a management channel feature so that the BMC can share a network interface controller/circuit/chip (NIC) with the iKVM. The BMC is connected to the iKVM controller, and the iKVM controller is connected to an NIC for the iKVM. The NIC for the iKVM is either directly connected to the network or connected to a NIC for the system section which is in turn connected to the network. In the latter case, the NIC for the system has a management channel where the packets from the iKVM are transmitted. As a result, only one network connector is required for the server.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) cable capable of indicating at least one switching status of a KVM switch for at least one computer coupled thereto. The KVM cable further comprises a set of transmission lines for transmitting indicating signals from the KVM switch to the indicator. The KVM cable comprises a plurality of connectors. A first indicator may be disposed on a first connector for indicating a console switching status. A second indicator may be disposed on a second connector for indicating a peripheral switching status. Alternatively, both the first and second indicators can be disposed on the same connector for indicating the console switching status and the peripheral switching status respectively. Moreover, a color mixing LED may also be disposed on either of the first and second connectors for indicating the console switching status and the peripheral switching status by different colors.

Abstract: An advanced IPMI system with multi-message processing and configurable performance and method for the same, optimally used among message sources, i.e. a host system and/or an operating terminal, to process IPMI messages from said message source is disclosed. The IPMI system includes an IPMI message subsystem, an IPMI core subsystem, and a central message buffer unit. The central message buffer unit provides a pointer to a corresponding address for temporary storage of each IPMI message. Each said subsystem each time just transmits the pointer, without a copy of the IPMI message, when transmittal of IPMI message is needed, for reducing times of reading IPMI message. The IPMI message subsystem utilizes multiple programmable-configured message processing units to concurrently multi-process lots of IPMI messages, in compliance with modular design of most units of said subsystems, for raising the implementing performance of the IPMI system.

A KVM switch for switching among a plurality of computers includes a movement detector, control unit, and a switch unit. The movement detector detects a movement of a mouse to generate a movement signal. The control unit receives the movement signal from the movement detector and generates a control signal according to the movement signal. The switch unit switches the computers based on the control signal. The KVM performs switch operation among a plurality of computers by a switching threshold value according to a movement distance of a mouse during a set time period.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for calibrating response of a pointer of a remote computer with respect to a mouse of a client computer. The method of the present invention includes steps: (a) showing the pointer of the remote computer in a screen of a display of the client computer; (b) directing the pointer to move in a predetermined distance by shifting the mouse; (c) calculating a relation between a shift of the mouse and the predetermined distance; and (d) synchronizing the mouse with the pointer according to the relation. The system thereof according to the present invention includes a KVM switch and a calibration mechanism. The KVM switch shows the pointer in the screen of the display. The calibration mechanism calculates a relation between a shift of the mouse and a predetermined distance and then, synchronizes the mouse with the pointer according to the relation.

Then, a ProbeInfo table element is selected according to the sensor identification, and a driver identification is obtained from the selected ProbeInfo table element. Sequentially, a driver corresponding to the driver identification is activated according to the specific identification, and a process is performed under the sensor mode corresponding to the specific identification by the driver.
