Abstract: A fishing reel is composed of a spool base (10), a rotating plate (20), a spool (30), a driving roller (40), a limiting wheel (50), a locking device (60), and a trigger device (70). The locking device (60) is able to control the rotating status of the fishing reel from free rotations to unidirectional rotation simply by turning the clutch knob (63).

Abstract: A pair of pliers with multiple functions is disclosed. The pliers have a pair of shanks pivotally engaged with each other each having a jaw formed at one end thereof, a polygon hole defined in the other end to hold a tool head, a hammer formed on the outside of one of the jaws and a chisel formed on the other. In addition, teeth and a cutting edge are formed on the face of the corresponding jaws or shanks. Consequently, the pair of pliers can be used as a hammer, a chisel or a screwdriver. This can improve the flexibility of the pair of pliers.

Abstract: A fishing reel assembly includes a disk-shaped base defining an elongate slot, and a control member mounted on a first side of the base and formed with a slide slidably extending through the elongate slot. An inverted U-shaped control plate is movably mounted on a second side of the base and is secured to the slide of the control member to slide therewith. The control plate includes a first leg defining a first guiding slot and a second leg defining a second guiding slot. A first driven gear is rotatably and slidably received in the first guiding slot, and a second driven gear is rotatably and slidably received in the second guiding slot. A spool is rotatably mounted on the base, and a drive gear is fixedly mounted on the spool to rotate therewith and is rotatably disposed between the first driven gear and the second driven gear.

Abstract: A fishing reel includes a spool rotatably mounted in a reel body and having two end portions each formed with a disk-shaped wheel. A supporting bracket is fixedly mounted on the reel body and includes an inner wall. A braking device is pivotally mounted in the supporting bracket and includes a first end portion formed with two braking arms each detachably abutting on the wheel of the spool and a second end portion extending outwardly from the supporting bracket. A torsional spring includes a first end urged on the inner wall of the supporting bracket and a second end urged on the second end portion of the braking device.

Abstract: A tool assembly includes a housing having two side walls each having an inner face and an outer face. At least one of the two side walls has an elongate slot vertically defined therein. An upper recess and a lower recess are defined in upper and lower portions of the at least one side wall. A blade is mounted on the inner face of the at least one side wall. A control member is mounted on the outer face of the at least one side wall and is slidable along the elongate slot. The control member includes a stub detachably received in one of the upper and lower recesses. A biasing member includes a pressing portion urged on the stub and an abutment rested on the at least one side wall in the elongate slot. A positioning member extends through a hole defined in the control member, the biasing member, and the elongate slot, and is securely engaged in a bore defined in the blade.

Abstract: A fishing reel includes a reel body including a first side frame, a second side frame and an elongated frame formed therebetween. A driven shaft is rotatably mounted in the elongated free. A drive shaft is detachably mounted in the driven shaft for rotating the driven shaft therewith. A handle portion is engaged with the drive shaft for rotating the drive shaft therewith. A cap is rotatably mounted around one of the first and second side plates. A stud is fixedly formed in the cap and is threadedly engaged in an inner thread of one distal end of the drive shaft for retaining the drive shaft in the driven shaft. A spool shaft is slidably mounted in the reel body and a spool is rotatably mounted around the spool shaft.

Abstract: A fishing reel including a casing, a spool, and a rotor rotatable by a handle. The rotor and the spool are combinable and detachable to the casing. The improvement includes: a stem extended from said rotor being provided with an annular groove; the casing being provided with a first slot for reception of a clamp member that has a U-shaped plate that fits in the annular groove after assembly, the clamp member includes a slit; and the casing being provided with a second slot for reception of a spring-loaded push knob which has a head portion insertable into the slit of the clamp member.

Abstract: A combined bait case and fishing reel comprising a fishing reel and a bait case. The bait case is a cylinder which is divided into compartments to contain the bait. The fishing reel has a plate wall with four screw holes: two on the upper portion and two on the lower portion. The bait case is pivotted connected to the fishing reel on the lower portion of the fishing reel by threading screws passing through the lower holes and a pivotted block. Additionally, the upper holes are used for fixing an engaged block which engages with an engagement plate of the bait case so as the prevent the cover from the slipping out when closing the cover.

Abstract: A fly-fishing reel comprising a stationary housing mounted on a fishing rod and a rotatable spool having a clicker gear engaged by a pivoted pawl which can apply resistance to the rotation of the spool with the aid of a pair of spring devices. A single knob on the exterior of the housing is provided with a connection with an adjustment device having two eccentric pins in contact connection with the spring devices. Rotating or moving the knob changes the relative positions of the spring devices with respect to the pawl, thus changing the resistance exerted on the spool and allowing fishermen to more easily sense the movement of a hooked fish.
