Abstract: According to an embodiment, a shaping device includes an acquiring unit, an extracting unit, first and second calculators, a determining unit, a shaping unit, and a display unit. The acquiring unit is configured to acquire strokes handwritten by a user. The extracting unit is configured to extract multiple combinations of strokes. The first calculator is configured to calculate a first likelihood representing a probability that each combination related to a target graphic. The second calculator is configured to calculate a second likelihood representing a probability that each combination related to an incomplete shape. The determining unit is configured to determine whether there is a first combination having first likelihood not less than a first threshold and the second likelihood not more than a second threshold. The shaping unit is configured to shape the strokes into the target graphic. The display unit is configured to display a result of shaping.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, an image processing device includes a first obtaining unit to obtain a first image which contains a clothing image to be superimposed; a second obtaining unit to obtain a second image which contains a photographic subject image on which the clothing image is to be superimposed; a third obtaining unit to obtain, of an image outline of the clothing image, a first outline that is the image outline other than openings formed in clothing; a setting unit to set, as a drawing restriction area, at least some area that is on the outside of the clothing image in the first image and that is continuous to the first outline; and a generating unit to generate a synthetic image by synthesizing the photographic subject image, from which is removed an area corresponding to the drawing restriction area, with the clothing image.

Abstract: In an embodiment, an image processing device includes: a first calculating unit; a selecting unit; an extracting unit; a second calculating unit; a determining unit; and a generating unit. The first calculating unit calculates posture information of a subject from a first image including the subject. The selecting unit selects a second image associated with the posture information from a plurality of second images including clothing. The extracting unit extracts a first feature of the subject from a first contour in the first image and extracts a second feature from a second contour in the second image. The second calculating unit calculates a first difference between the first feature and the second feature. The determining unit determines a transparency that is higher as the first difference is larger. The generating unit generates a composite image combining the first image and the second image with the determined transparency.
