  • Patent number: 9755209
Abstract: A method for grouping lithium secondary battery packs comprises the following steps: charging and discharging a battery for 1-3 cycles, recording the last discharge capacity C0, setting a capacity lower limit, and determining the battery with the C0 thereof not less than the capacity lower limit to be an eligible battery; discharging the battery to a discharge cut-off voltage Vd so the battery is discharged to a power empty state; charging the empty battery to a capacity C1; storing the battery for time t1 in an environment with a temperature ranging between 20-50° C., recording the battery voltage V1, storing the battery again for time t2 in the environment with the temperature ranging between 20-50° C., recording the battery voltage V2, calculating a voltage difference ?V=V2?V1 and setting the range of ?V; and grouping eligible batteries in a previous step according to a certain capacity grouping standard.

  • Patent number: 9722285
Abstract: A method includes providing battery cells for secondary batteries. The battery cells are charged to a fixed voltage (Vc). The battery cells are laid aside in an open circuit for a preset self-discharge time period (t). A voltage (Vt) is measured after the period t for each battery cell. A voltage difference (?V) is determined for each battery cell, wherein ?V=Vc?Vt. A self-discharge rate (?) is measured for each ?V. A self-discharge current (Ic) is calculated during the period t, wherein Ic is a function of ?. The Ic is curve-fitted to the ?V for each battery cell to obtain an Ic??V equation. The Ic is divided into h number of grades. The Ic??V equation is utilized to determine h number of grades of ?V associated with each grade of Ic. Battery cells are selected having a same grade of Ic and ?V for matching.

  • Publication number: 20160254532
Abstract: An adhesive pasting method for lithium ion battery pole piece, includes the steps of: (a) putting a hot melt adhesive ring in a pole piece cavity; (b) disposing a surface of a lithium ion battery pole piece with a paste composition downward so that the paste composition corresponds to a hollow part of the hot melt adhesive ring; (c) switching on the heating element to heat the pasting die-head to a pre-set temperature; (d) switching on the driver to drive the pasting die-head to move downward until the raised pasting surface presses against the lithium ion battery pole piece, thus causing an exterior surface of the hot melt adhesive ring to melt and adhere to the lithium ion battery pole piece; and (e) driving the pasting die-head to separate from the pole piece bottom die to obtain a hot melt adhesive ring-attached lithium ion battery pole piece.
