  • Patent number: 11898253
Abstract: Provided is a process for producing a tinned copper wire. The process comprises subjecting a copper wire sequentially to activation treatment, a first hot tinning treatment, a first cooling, a second hot tinning treatment, and a second cooling to obtain a tinned copper wire. The first hot tinning treatment is carried out at a first temperature and the second hot tinning treatment is carried out at a second temperature. The first temperature is higher than the second temperature. The first temperature is at least 38° C. higher than the melting point of tin. The second temperature is at least 8° C. higher than the melting point of tin.

  • Patent number: 7989505
Abstract: The compositions of hydrogel colloidal crystals are made from mixing an aqueous suspension of poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (“PNIPAM”)-co-allylamine microgels with dichloromethane, forming a PNIPAM-co-allylamine/dichloromethane mixture. The PNIPAM-co-allylamine/dichloromethane mixture is incubated for a period of time at a given temperature, forming the colloidal crystal material. The colloidal crystals can be stabilized by diffusing a glutaric dialdehyde solution into the colloidal crystal material. The concentration of polymer matrix microgels can determine the orientation of random or columnar crystals.
