Abstract: A crossbow trigger device having an automatically activated safety includes a trigger, a catch and at least one safety lever or stem cooperating with a projectile pusher, such as a crossbow string, or with a catch. The catch is pivotally mounted in the trigger device and has an upper part extending above the trigger device. When the projectile pusher is being cocked back, it engages and pivots the catch and moves the safety lever or stem to a safe position in which the safety lever or stem prevents the catch from being turned by the projectile pusher if the trigger is unintentionally pulled. The trigger device is also provided with a knob accessible by a user and connected to the safety lever or stem to manually unlock or lock the catch.

Abstract: A firearm magazine has a cartridge pushing means including a follower, an auxiliary follower, a relatively short main spring, and a relatively short auxiliary spring; as opposed to the conventional firearm magazine having one follower and one relatively long spring. If the invented firearm magazine and the conventional firearm magazine have the same size and both are fully loaded, all the springs--short ones and long one--are compressed to the same length, and it is obvious that the spring tension for the short spring is much less than the same for the long one, and accordingly the invented firearm magazine can stay fully loaded much longer than the conventional one, without losing restoring force of the springs.

Abstract: A revolver uses removable cylinders for fast reloading and has cylinder fastening elements which permit reloading of the revolver only when a revolver hammer is in an uncocked position. The revolver cylinders have, in their rear ends, cartridge holding elements which prevent cartridges from falling out of the cylinders when the cylinders are outside of the revolver frame.

Abstract: Projectile slide-pushers for crossbows. These slide-pushers are made of rigid material and each has a bottom surface conforming to upper outer surface of a crossbow barrel. A common surface on the projectile slide-pusher functions as both a projectile pusher and catch engaging surface. These slide-pushers perform longitudinal motions, parallel to and along the cross bow barrel during shooting.

This pivoting motion automatically engages the catch with the intermediate safety member moving it to a position locking the trigger and preventing the trigger from being unintentionally pulled. The trigger device is also provided with a knob accessible for a user and connected to the intermediate safety member to manually unlock or lock the trigger.

Abstract: A cross bow has a bow prod including two symmetrical halves which are mounted on two symmetrical bow prod mounts. The bow prod mounts are pivotally mounted on a fore end portion of a cross bow stock and movably connected to a slide, the slide performs longitudinal motion, when the cross bow is being cocked, thereby turning the bow prod mounts so that when one of the mounts is turned clockwise by some angle, another one is turned counter clockwise by the same angle, so as to increase the distance between the ends of the bow prod halves to which a bow string is attached and to thereby increase a bow prod tension for shooting.

Abstract: A cross bow which can fire both bolts and pellets comprises a bow attached to a bow slide which performs reciprocating or longitudinal motion relative to a cross bow stock when the cross bow is being cocked. The slide can be maintained in a selected position along the stock by a pawl and ratchet device. To fire pellets or bolts a pellet holder or a bolt pusher is attached to the bow string accordingly.

Abstract: A cross bow comprises a bow attached to a bow slide which performs reciprocating motion relatively to a cross bow stock when the cross bow is being cocked. The slide can be maintained in a selected position along the stock by a locking device. To fire projectiles a projectile holder is attached to a bow string. The stock has a longitudinal guideway for guiding the bow slide. The locking device includes a ratchet gear wheel and a spring loaded pawl. A cocking device is provided and includes a gear wheel and a gear rack.

Abstract: A fastening means for securing a removable cylinder in a revolver comprising a displaceable member and a pushing means. The pushing means enters the cylinder bore and thereby urges the displaceable member into a hole in the frame to secure said cylinder.

Abstract: A revolver has a trigger safety interlock blocking the trigger in an initial position if none of the circumferentially chambers of a cylinder are axially aligned with the revolver bore. This interlock consisting of at least two elements one of which is the trigger itself and the second one is a cylinder latch itself. This interlock is built such that the trigger is engaged by another part of the interlock such that the trigger becomes immovable.

Abstract: A ratchet-type reversible wrench has an outer housing member rotatable relative to an inner member, and a handle connected with said housing member. A special ratchet mechanism provided in the wrench and including a tooth in outer housing member and a plurality of projections in the inner member for joint rotation of the members in one direction and disengagement of the members during rotation of the outer housing member in another direction. The inner member is provided with two square studs projecting outside of said inner member to connect with sockets. The handle performs a limited transverse counter motion relative to the outer housing member. This outer housing member is provided with a rod transferring effort from the switch of direction of rotation located on the handle to the ratchet mechanism.

Abstract: A firearm silencer comprising a tubular casing with a few partitions which divide the interior of the said silencer to a number of chambers with a passage therethrough for the projectile. The second chamber from the muzzle end of the silencer has a type of construction, that separates discharged gases into plurality of streams and then forces them to collide among themselves.
