Abstract: A card connector includes an insulating housing (10), a number of contacts (20) and an ejector (30). The insulating housing (10) defines a card receiving space (13) with a card insertion/ejection direction. The contacts (20) are retained in the insulating housing (10) and include a plurality of contacting portions (23) exposed into the card receiving space (13) to electrically connect with a card. The ejector (30) is assembled to the insulating housing (10) includes an ejecting arm (323) exposed into the card receiving space (13) to eject a card. The ejecting arm (323) includes a shield portion (326) extending in the card receiving space (13) along the card ejection direction from a transverse lateral side of the ejecting arm (323) being away from the contacts (20).

Abstract: A card connector adapted for receiving a card comprises an insulating housing (1) defining a card receiving space with a card insertion/ejecting direction; a plurality of contacts (2) retained in the insulating housing and an ejector (3) received in the insulating housing for ejecting the card. The ejector comprises a slider (30) movable along the card insertion/ejecting direction, a resilient member (31), a pin member (32) and a latching member (33) retained to the slider and having a locking portion (330), during an insertion process of the card, the latching member moves upwardly together with the slider, and brings the locking portion to move upwardly and lock the card.

Abstract: An electrical card connector includes an insulating housing having a plurality of passageways and a plurality of contacts received in the insulating housing. Said insulating housing has a plurality of bars near two sides of each passageway for restricting each said contact vertically. Each bar has a barb on an inner side thereof so that the contact can be retained in the insulating housing firmly to prevent the contact from dropping out from the insulating housing.

Abstract: A chisel includes a handle, a tip removably mounted on the handle, an insertion rod secured to the tip and inserted into the handle, and at least one positioning unit mounted on the handle and releasably urged on the insertion rod to releasably position the insertion rod on the handle so that the tip is removably mounted on the handle. Thus, the chisel has replaceable tips, so that the handle can co-operate with tips of different types, thereby facilitating a user operating the chisel, and thereby enhancing the working efficiency. In addition, the user only has to carry a handle and a plurality of tips to construct the chisel without having to carry multiple chisels, thereby greatly decreasing the weight.

Abstract: An electrical connector (100) used to be mounted on a printed circuit board includes an insulating housing (20) defining a receiving cavity (21) for mating with a complementary component (80), a number of electrical contacts (30) to be soldered to the printed circuit board, an ejecting mechanism assembled to the insulating housing and a metal cover (40) covering the insulating housing (20). The ejecting mechanism includes a slider (60) slidable between a first position and a second position, and a spring (50) for driving the slider to the first position. The metal cover forms a tab (41) at the first position for preventing the slider from moving over the first position under a force that the spring applies to the slider.

The ejector comprises a slider defining an original position and a final position, a spring, a holding equipment and a metal plate retained to the slider and moving together with the slider. One of the switch contacts not electrically connecting with the other switch contacts when the slider is at the original position, and all of the switch electrically connecting with each other by simultaneity contacting with the metal plate when the slider is at the final position.

Abstract: Herbal combinations which reduce serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels comprise (1) herbs having substantial recognized activity in enhancing circulatory function (ECF herbs) and (2) herbs having substantial recognized effects in promoting bowel motility (PBM herbs). Preferred combinations have a combined total of at least 16% (dry weight basis) of at least two ECS herbs in combination with a combined total of at least 16% (dry weight basis) of at least two PBM herbs. Particularly preferred combinations are selected from the following herbs: Crataegus, Ho Shou Wu, Chrysanthemum, Lotus Leaf, Alisma and Hu-Zhang, Cassia Seed, and Rhubarb.
