  • Publication number: 20110189561
Abstract: A hydrogen generating apparatus and a fuel cell using the same are provided, the hydrogen generating apparatus is adapted to the fuel cell, and includes a sleeve, a sliding element, and a withdrawing mechanism. A first end of the sleeve is used for containing liquid water. The sliding element is slidably disposed at a second end of the sleeve, wherein a solid fuel is connected to the sliding element. The withdrawing mechanism is disposed in the sleeve. The solid fuel is apart from the liquid water when the sliding element is fixed to a first position by the withdrawing mechanism, and the solid fuel reacts with the liquid water to generate hydrogen when the sliding element is fixed to a second position by the withdrawing mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20110133686
Abstract: A battery device for a notebook computer includes a control circuit, a rechargeable battery unit, and a fuel cell unit. The control circuit includes a transmission interface adapted to be electrically connected to the notebook computer. The rechargeable battery unit is electrically connected to the control circuit and includes a plurality of battery cells. The fuel cell unit is electrically connected to the control circuit. A volume of the fuel cell unit is substantially integral multiple of a volume of the battery cell.

  • Publication number: 20090067177
Abstract: An optical film with focusing function is applicable to a backlight module for adjusting an optical property thereof. A manufacturing method of the optical film includes the steps of: (a) providing a transparent base including a light incident surface and a light output surface, the light output surface having a plurality of focusing microstructures formed thereon; (b) forming a reflective layer on the light incident surface; and (c) providing a laser beam incident on the reflective layer from at least one of the focusing microstructures, the laser beam being focused on the reflective layer by the at least one of the focusing microstructures and forming at least one aperture in the reflective layer, the at least one aperture being corresponding to the at least one of the focusing microstructures. A backlight module using the manufactured optical film is also described.

  • Publication number: 20080247190
Abstract: A high brightness diffusion plate for homogenizing light beams provided by at least one light source of a backlight module to a display panel is provided, which includes a diffusion layer, a transmittance layer, and a plurality of connecters. The transmittance layer is disposed above the diffusion layer, and the connecters are connected between the diffusion layer and the transmittance layer. Since the high brightness diffusion plate of the present invention is an integrated structure and is stronger, the present invention is not only easier for being assembled inside the backlight module, but also makes the light source provided by the backlight module being more homogeneous.
