    Abstract: A second cross member, which extends in the lateral direction of a vehicle, is provided between one of floor side members and one of tunnel under reinforcements below a front floor panel. The bottom wall of the second cross member is arch-shaped, and a space is provided under the bottom wall. Due to the arch-shaped bottom wall, the second cross member deforms upward upon side collision of the vehicle, whereby the components arranged in the space are not damaged.
