  • Publication number: 20110260071
Abstract: Plural camera heads are each placed in a position capable of detection of radiation emitted from a radiation source. Compton cones obtained from the detection data output from each of the plural camera heads are projected onto three-dimensional space and an image based on the radiation source is reconstructed. In addition, projected images from projecting Compton cones obtained from the detection data output from each camera head onto two-dimensional planes are also employed for determining a three-dimensional space excluding regions where the radiation source is not present. Reconstruction of images based on the radiation source is then performed within the determined three-dimensional space.

  • Publication number: 20110207028
Abstract: An anion-exchange membrane having quaternary ammonium groups or quaternary phosphonium groups wherein halogen ions serve as the counter ions is obtained. Rather than being subjected to ion exchange with an OH-type membrane using a toxic substance such as sodium hydroxide, the halogen-type anion exchange membrane is brought into contact with a carbonate solution and/or bicarbonate solution to directly obtain an anion exchange membrane where at least some of the counterions of the quaternary ammonium groups or quaternary phosphonium groups are CO32? and/or HCO3?.

  • Publication number: 20100265633
Abstract: The present invention provides a polarizable electrode for an electrical double layer capacitor which has good high-temperature storage characteristics and can prevent a decrease in electrostatic capacity and increase in internal resistance, and also provides an electrical double layer capacitor using the electrode. A polarizable electrode is formed by mixing Ketjen black, active charcoal and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) aqueous solution. An etched aluminum foil is used for the collector, and this etched aluminum foil is dipped in a phosphoric acid aqueous solution or an ammonium phosphate or other phosphate aqueous solution to thereby retain 15 to 115 mg/m2 of phosphorus on the surface of the etched aluminum foil. The electrostatic capacity per unit area on the surface of this etched aluminum foil is 50 to 350 ?F/cm2.

  • Patent number: 7726382
Abstract: A mold and a die-cast manufacturing method for the die-cast product, in which a main frame which is contiguously formed with a head pipe constitutes a portion of a hollow light-weight-metal-made vehicle-body frame. The mold includes a core for forming an inner space of the hollow vehicle-body frame. The core includes a core body and a plurality of splints mounted on the core body, the splints having approximately elliptical cross-sectional shapes. The long axes direction of ellipses of the splints are set parallel to a mold split surface of the mold. As a result, measurement of the positional accuracy of the splints is facilitated, a clearance between the splint and the mold can decrease by increasing the dimensional accuracy of splint mounting portions of the mold based on sizes of the splints, and the frame can be manufactured with high dimensional accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20080225759
Abstract: A radio communication apparatus that transmits and receives a signal via an antenna duplexer, the apparatus that includes a dividing unit that divides part of a transmitting signal to be transmitted via the antenna duplexer. Also included is a conversion unit that converts a receiving signal of a first frequency band received via the antenna duplexer into a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band. In addition, the apparatus includes an extraction unit converting a noise component of the first frequency band included in the transmitting signal divided by the dividing unit into the second frequency band and extracting the noise component. Moreover, the apparatus includes an inversion unit that inverts the phase of the noise component extracted by the extraction unit. Also included is a combining unit that combines the receiving signal converted by the conversion unit and the noise component inverted by the inversion unit.
