Abstract: A system, method, and device for monitoring a physiological characteristic and/or response of a user includes a wearable monitoring device for displaying a status level of a physiological characteristic and/or response. When attached to or against the user's body, the wearable monitoring device includes an optical signal assembly configured to generate an optical signal based on a reflection or transmission of light from a detected travel of blood and/or pulse wave of the user and received by one or more sensors disposed along the user's extremity. A processor calculates the physiological characteristic and/or response, for example, heart-rate, heart-rate variability, blood pressure, stress intensity level, or energy level of the user, based on the generated signal from the sensor and user data.

Abstract: A system, method, and device for monitoring a physiological characteristic of a user includes a wearable monitoring device including one or more LEDs configured to emit light toward a user's skin tissue and two or more sensors laterally disposed along a longitudinal axis of an extremity of a user. Each sensor generates a signal based on an intensity of received light from a location against or adjacent to the sensor where a pulse wave resulting from a user's heart beat passes. A processor calculates one or more physiological characteristics of the user, such as blood pressure or stress, based on the generated signal from each sensor and a lateral distance therebetween.

Abstract: A system for detecting biomolecules in a user's eye having a head and tracking system positioned a comfortable distance from the user that provides positioning cues for the user, an optical system for providing scans of the user's eye, and a controller that operates the head and tracking system and the optical system and perform a risk analysis based on data from the scans.
