  • Patent number: 9375982
Abstract: A motorcycle tire for running on rough terrain comprises a tread portion provided with a plurality of blocks defining a block pattern. The blocks include center blocks whose centroids of their top surfaces are disposed within a center region of the tread portion defined as being centered on the tire equator and having a developed width of 25% of a developed tread width. The top surface of each of the center blocks is provided with an axially extending edge extending straight and parallel with the tire axial direction, and arc edges curved convexly toward the centroid of the top surface and disposed on both sides of the axially extending edge in the tire axial direction.

  • Patent number: 9290060
Abstract: A motorcycle tire 1 on rough terrain. Blocks 11 include crown blocks 16 arranged in a center area Cr of a tread portion 2, middle blocks arranged axially outside the crown blocks and shoulder blocks arranged axially outside middle blocks. The crown blocks have a smallest aspect ratio. The shoulder blocks have a largest aspect ratio. The crown block 16 includes a shift block. The shift block is provided in a center part in its widthwise direction with one circumferentially extending slit so as to divide the block into two small block segments. The two small block segments are shifted from each other in the tire circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 8631845
Abstract: A motorcycle tire for running on rough terrain comprises a tread portion provided with a plurality of blocks including a cut block. The cut block is provided with a U-shaped cut so as to define a sub part of the cut block surrounded by the cut and a main part of the cut block outside the cut. The top surface of the sub part and the top surface of the main part are displaced from each other in a normal direction to the tread surface, and an exposed outside wall surface of the sub part and an exposed outside wall surface of the main part are displaced from each other in a lateral direction parallel with the tread surface, wherein the exposed outside wall surface of the sub part is defined as extending radially inwardly from the edge of the top surface of the sub part, and the exposed outside wall surface of the main part is defined as extending radially inwardly from the edge of the top surface of the main part and positioned on each side of the exposed outside wall surface of the sub part.

  • Patent number: 8028780
Abstract: To ensure that an energy supply operation can be performed safely and smoothly on a vehicle having a plurality of energy ports such as a charging port, charging ports for supplying electric energy to a high voltage battery and a fuel supply port for supplying fuel to a fuel tank are provided in a vehicle body as energy supply ports. The fuel supply port and charging ports are respectively provided with lid members that are switched between a closed state and an open state by respective lock mechanisms. When closure of one lid member is released, all of the other lid members are prohibited from being switched to the open state, and therefore the number of energy supply ports having an open lid member is limited to one.
