  • Patent number: 9670914
Abstract: In a check valve for a compressor, a valve element includes an abutting surface and an outer circumferential surface. A valve hole includes a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. A communicating window has such a shape that an opening area thereof gradually becomes larger with increasing distance from a valve seat. The check valve has an open state, a fully closed state, and a buffering state. When the abutting surface separates from the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface opens the communicating window, the open state is defined. When the abutting surface closes the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface interrupts communication through the communicating window, the fully closed state is defined. When the abutting surface separates from the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface interrupts communication through the communicating window, the buffering state is defined. The hunting phenomenon is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6910344
Abstract: A compressor torque estimate device is used for a variable displacement compressor whose displacement is variable based on a compressor control signal for estimating a compressor torque of the compressor. The compressor torque estimate device includes a torque calculator and a corrector. The torque calculator calculates a torque required for driving the compressor based on the compressor control signal, thereby obtaining a calculated torque. The corrector corrects the calculated torque by a procedure of first-order lag, thereby obtaining a corrected torque. The corrector also estimates the corrected torque to be the compressor torque.

  • Patent number: 6524079
Abstract: In a variable-capacity swash-plate type compressor, which can vary the outlet capacity by controlling an inclination angle of a swash plate, the swash plate is aligned by contacting a washer (19) with a tapered surface to the swash plate (18). Thus, in a case where a compression operation is not carried out or in a case where a compression operation is carried out at a small outlet capacity regarded as zero substantially, the noises, etc., which generate between the swash plate and a driving shaft (6), are inhibited.

  • Patent number: 6422830
Abstract: A fluid machine, in which the step of mounting a filter on a flow passageway can be easily automated and the latitude of filter arrangement is improved. A mounting recess is formed on the inner bottom surface of a rear housing. An inlet to a gas feed passageway opens to the bottom of the mounting recess. A control valve for adjusting the displacement of the compressor is arranged on the way of the gas feed passageway. A filter including a support ring and a filter member made of a woven wire in a shape of a cylinder with one end covered is fixedly secured in the mounting recess by press fitting. The head of the filter member is formed to project beyond the inner bottom surface when the filter is mounted in the mounting recess.

  • Patent number: 6267563
Abstract: A variable capacity type compressor includes a swash plate and pistons to effect compressing action. The tilting position of the swash plate is controlled by the pressure in a control pressure chamber into which a coolant in the discharge pressure region is introduced. The pressure in the control pressure chamber is controlled by a capacity control valve mounted to the rear housing in an inclined position relative to a plane perpendicular to the axis of the rotatable drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 6254356
Abstract: In a fitting structure of a control valve in a variable capacity compressor according to the present invention, a step portion 92 is formed by connecting two taper surfaces 93a and 93b, the diameter of each of which decreases progressively towards the depth of a fitting hole 32 (in an inserting direction of a control valve 33) between each step surface portion 57, 67, 74, 91 of a fitting hole 32. A first taper surface 93a at a deep part of each step portion 92 has a smaller inclination in the inserting direction than a second taper surface 93b on the inlet side. The first taper surface 93a is formed so that its inner diameter on the inlet side is a little greater than the outer diameter of each O-ring 61, 70, 77 disposed on each step surface portion 57, 67, 74 in a free condition.
