  • Publication number: 20240426364
Abstract: A cylinder device includes a piston rod having one end side connected to a piston and the other end side inserted through a blocking member, and extending to the outside of a cylinder, and a cushion member provided between the piston and the blocking member and abutting the blocking member through extension of the piston rod. The cushion member has a first member, and a second member provided inside the first member in a radial direction, abutting the blocking member earlier than the first member and having a hardness smaller than that of the first member, and the first member and the second member apply a force to the blocking member in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20200102992
Abstract: A vehicle braking system includes a splash guard: adjacently arranged on a vehicle body while facing a sliding part of a disc-shaped rotor which rotates about an axle; made of a plate-shaped member which includes multiple cooling holes each being a through-hole penetrating through a plate surface; and formed in a shape linearly symmetrical with respect to a symmetrical axis that is a straight line located on the plate surface and intersecting the axle.

  • Patent number: 7980831
Abstract: An oscillating type piston is connected to an output shaft of an electric motor through a crankshaft. The piston is provided with a lip ring that slidingly contacts a cylinder. The motor is rotated forward and reversely by using a control circuit. Thus, different regions of the piston are subjected to a load during forward rotation of the motor and during reverse rotation thereof. Accordingly, wear of the lip ring can be distributed to different regions thereof.

  • Patent number: 7290481
Abstract: A lip ring is attached to a piston so as to be rotatable relative to the piston in a circumferential direction, and a seal portion is provided between a ring attachment groove of the piston and an attachment portion of the lip ring. During a suction stroke, the lip ring can be rotated in a circumferential direction of the piston, thus distributing wear around the entire periphery of a lip portion of the lip ring. During a compression stroke, leakage of air from a compression chamber can be prevented by means of the seal portion provided between the ring attachment groove and the lip ring.
