Abstract: A method and arrangement for enabling access to a home device in a private network from a remote device located outside the private network. The private network includes a multimedia gateway connected to a multimedia service network. A session invite message is sent from the remote device to the multimedia gateway. In response, connection parameters of a residential gateway in the private network are sent to the remote device, which are associated with the selected home device if a home device identification was included in the received message, or with a proxy function in the multimedia gateway capable of providing home device information, if no such identification was included in the received message. In this way, home devices in the private network can be easily and safely accessed remotely.

Abstract: An operator selecting apparatus and a method for selecting a home operator for each communication device in a group. A first selecting unit of the operator selecting apparatus selects, for each quality-oriented communication device in the group, a candidate operator out of a plurality of the candidate operators that is determined based on the quality information to provide the best quality of service to the communication device. The second selecting unit of the operator selecting apparatus then selects, for each cost-oriented communication device in the group, based on the billing system and a number of quality-oriented communication devices assigned to the each candidate operator as a result of the selection by the first selecting unit, a candidate operator out of the plurality of the candidate operators such that a total cost for all the communication devices in the group becomes lowest.

The IMS UE comprises: searching means for searching, based on UPnP technology, a UPnP network for a host device that has IMS subscription information, establishing means for establishing a session with the host device discovered by the searching means, subscription retrieving means for retrieving, from the host device via the session, the IMS subscription information, registering means for registering with the IMS network using the IMS subscription information, key retrieving means for retrieving, from the host device via the session, a first encryption key shared with an IMS application server (AS) in an IMS network by sending identity of the IMS AS to the host device via the session, and communicating means for performing encrypted communication with the IMS AS using the first encryption key.

Abstract: The present invention relates to auto-provisioning of authentication data for client devices. A registration server includes a gateway determination unit, which is configured to determine a gateway apparatus transferring a request signal from a device, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to transmit a first signal including a token and first access information of the gateway apparatus to the device if an identifier of the gateway apparatus is stored on the server, and to transmit a second signal indicating a positive response to the gateway apparatus when it obtains the token and the identifier based on a third signal received in response to the first signal. The gateway apparatus sends the secret value to the device when it receives the second signal.

Abstract: An image matching apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a storage unit, an obtaining unit, a specification unit, and an image matching unit. The storage unit is configured to store image data of one or more devices that are connected to a local network. The obtaining unit is configured to obtain image data of device image obtained by capturing a device. The specification unit is configured to specify one or more local networks to be used for image matching. The image matching unit is configured to perform image matching of the obtained image data against the stored image data of one or more devices that are connected to the specified local network.

Abstract: One aspect of the present invention will provide a gateway apparatus being able to communicate with a user terminal and provide the user terminal with a GBA authentication between the gateway apparatus and an authentication server, comprising, a receiving unit operable to receive a HTTP request addressed to a network address of the gateway apparatus from the user terminal, a requesting unit operable to request an GBA authentication to the authentication server according to the reception of the HTTP request, and a transmission unit operable to transmit the HTTP request, after the GBA authentication, to the authentication server using a network address of the authentication server preliminarily received from the authentication server.

Abstract: To present a more attractive image showing a product before a customer for advertisement, a display control system is provided. This system is supposed to be deployed in different sites of a store, shop or shopping mall. The system includes: a server for storing image data representing a plurality of images corresponding to advertisement contents; a controller connected to the server; and a plurality of displays and cameras arranged near an exhibited product for advertisement. When a person is near the exhibited product, a plurality of cameras capture the person from different angles, captured image data is sent to the controller and processed and analyzed by the controller. Then, the controller infers the person's interest, selects a more suitable image to the person based on the person's interest, and transmits image data to any of the displays so as to change a displayed image according to the person's interest.

Abstract: There is provided a telephone that is capable of accessing a memory for storing subscription information that includes a phone number. The telephone comprises, among other things: a searching unit that searches the memory for second subscription information that is different from the first subscription information selected by the selecting unit; an obtaining unit that obtains a first phone number included in the first subscription information and transfer source information that enables a call transfer server of a network operator associated with the second subscription information to identify a second phone number included in the second subscription information; and a sending unit that sends, to the call transfer server, a call transfer request for requesting the network operator to transfer a call addressed to a phone number, which is identified by the call transfer server based on the transfer source information, to the first phone number.

The server includes a management unit for managing context information of a communication device, which includes data relating to service provided by a network operator; an obtaining unit for obtaining device information of the communication device, which includes data needed to obtain subscription information from a network operator; a selecting unit for selecting, using the context information, a network operator that provides the best service to the communication device out of network operators that are able to provide network connectivity to the communication device; and a request unit for sending a request, with the obtained device information to the selected network operator, for subscription information which is to be used for the communication device to connect to the selected network operator as a home network operator.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a portable communication device and a network-side authorization server, and to methods therein. By splitting the functionality of an OAuth authorization server and moving the authorization endpoint into, for instance a mobile phone, an authorization server within the mobile phone is provided. This mobile phone authorization server does not need to communicate with the network-side for getting an authorization code or an access token.

A pulley having a cylindrical section and a flange wall is mounted on an end section of the pump shaft. An impeller is mounted on the other end section of the pump shaft. A mechanical seal is coaxially disposed between the tubular section and the pump shaft. A bearing is coaxially disposed between the tubular section of the pump housing and the cylindrical section of the pulley. In this water pump, the pump shaft includes a coaxial small diameter shaft section located at its first part which is located axially between the mechanical seal and the flange wall. The small diameter shaft section has a diameter smaller than a diameter of a second part of the pump shaft on which the mechanical seal is disposed so as to form an annular step portion.
