  • Patent number: 7850813
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a thin functional member having no base material, which exhibits a special function and is free from curling caused by the base material. The method includes the following steps (1) to (4): (1) filling a functional layer comprising an ionizing radiation curable resin between a base material and a mold having a predetermined concavo-convex pattern, (2) irradiating the filled functional layer with ionizing radiation to half-cure the functional layer, and then delaminating the functional layer and the base material from the mold, (3) adhering an adhesive sheet to a part of the functional layer, and delaminating the functional layer from the base material starting from a portion to which the adhesive sheet is adhered, and (4) irradiating the functional layer with ionizing radiation again to further cure the functional layer.

  • Publication number: 20100247866
Abstract: An uneven surface film and a light-diffusing sheet are provided, which can prevent generation of scratches on surfaces thereof even when a plurality of the films or sheets are piled up or the film or sheet is superimposed on another member. The uneven surface film of the present invention has an uneven profile on a surface of the film, wherein the uneven profile shows a maximum peak height (Rp) of 6.0 ?m or higher and a number of peaks (RHSC) of 600 peaks/0.5 mm2 or less in a roughness curve determined by three-dimensional surface profilometry. This uneven surface film can be suitably used as a component member of a backlight, a light-diffusing sheet, or the like, and exhibits anti-scratch function as well as favorable light-diffusing property.
