  • Patent number: 7126626
Abstract: The main body section and the cover section, those of which are combined with the coupling section so that the electronic device can pivot, constitute the present invention. There is an input key section is provided in the opposed surface of the main body section meeting the cover section when the device is folded. There is the main display section provided in the opposing surface of the cover section meeting the main body section when the device is folded. Because of this, the electronic device can be used easier as a mobile phone. Furthermore, the electronic device also can be used easier as a still camera because the device can be used as a still camera immediately whenever the user wants to, even when the electronic device is in stand-by mode of mobile phone mode.

  • Patent number: 6781344
Abstract: A battery testing and sorting apparatus that includes an upwardly inclined conveyor having a conveyor drive for moving batteries to be tested and sorted. The conveyor includes a battery feeding section disposed along the conveyor for positioning the batteries laterally onto the conveyor so that terminals of the batteries are in a horizontal orientation on the conveyor. A testing section is disposed along the conveyor upstream from the battery feeding section for testing the electrical condition of the batteries as they move along the conveyor. A sorting section is disposed along the conveyor upstream from the testing section for ejecting the batteries from the conveyor according to the electrical condition of the batteries determined by the testing section. In this manner, a battery testing and sorting apparatus is provided for continuously sorting large quantities of batteries into groups based on the electrical condition of the batteries.

  • Patent number: 5149005
Abstract: A magnetic tape wind-up method comprises the steps of winding up a magnetic tape around a hub, which is incorporated in a cassette case, while the magnetic tape is being moved and is in contact with a contact member provided in the cassette case. The magnetic tape is wound up while a gas is being blown against the contact member or against a portion of the magnetic tape, which portion is present in the vicinity of the contact member, in such a way that the gas flows between the contact member and the magnetic tape.
