  • Publication number: 20070284874
Abstract: A spacer is disclosed in which a retaining portion of a product being conveyed is not generated even if the product being conveyed in a hose has high pressure or an inner pressure of the hose is high. The spacer includes a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body is cut along a shortest line on an outer periphery surface of the cylindrical body which connects a point on an end of the cylindrical body with a point on the other end of the cylindrical body and which is not parallel to an axis of the cylindrical body. The cut cylindrical body is interposed between a hose band for tightening an outer periphery of the end of the hose under a state that the end of the hose is put onto a hose joint.

  • Patent number: 4886191
Abstract: A tool for assisting spray work at a high position which includes a pole, a holder for holding a spray device at an upper portion of the pole, a valve-opening mechanism for opening an ejecting valve of the spray device, and an operating mechanism for remotely operating the valve-operating mechanism from a lower portion of the pole. The holder for holding the spray device at an upper portion of the pole includes an upper holder fixed on the upper end of the pole, laterally extending and having a fitting portion for holding a neck portion of the spray device, and a lower holder having a tubular portion slidably mounted on the pole, an arm laterally extending from the tubular portion, and a receiving portion provided at a free end of the arm. The receiving portion supports the lower center surface of the spray device. A clamping mechanism is provided for fixing the tubular portion on the pole.
