  • Patent number: 8891025
Abstract: An information processing device according to the present invention receives an operation instruction by a motion of a hand and thus performs an operation corresponding thereto. The information processing device includes a detection section for detecting the motion of the hand; and a control section for displaying information corresponding to the motion of the hand detected by the detection section on a display. When the detection first detects the hand, the control section performs one of a plurality of different processes in accordance with whether or not the detection section detects a motion of the hand within a certain time duration after the first detection of the hand.

  • Patent number: 7817074
Abstract: A D/A converter (100) includes a delta-sigma modulation circuit (102) including a quantizer (105) that receives a digital signal to quantize it based on a quantization reference value, a local D/A conversion circuit (107) for converting an output from the delta-sigma modulating circuit to an analog signal to be outputted, and a control circuit (109) for correcting the quantization reference value of the quantizer. The quantization reference value is established for each of a plurality of discrete output values that the quantizer may output. The control circuit (109) corrects the quantization reference value to cancel any distortion that would occur in a circuit, following the delta-sigma modulation circuit (102) and including the local D/A conversion circuit (107).

  • Patent number: 7106674
Abstract: In a multi-session disc including both audio session and data session, the data session is correctly recognized and accessed. The reproducing apparatus is a reproducing apparatus of a multi-session disc mixing a session of first type recording first data and a session of second type recording second data different from the first data, comprising an optical pickup for accessing the session of first type and the session of second type, a judging unit for judging a type of the session accessed by the optical pickup, and a limiting unit for limiting the session of first type to a reproducible session when the session of second type judged by the judging unit is present at an access position after the session of first type.
