    Abstract: This slide switch includes: a casing formed in a hollow box shape with an open top; several fixed contacts on the bottom surface of the casing and several terminals connected to them extending to the outside of the casing; a cover mounted to close the open top of the casing, formed with a hole opposed to the fixed contacts; and a slide member disposed inside the casing, which has a control portion protruding out through the hole in the cover and a movable contact portion made of a resilient electrically conducting material which bears against the internal bottom surface of the casing and thereby produces a biasing force on the slide member to impel it in the direction towards the cover. The movable contact portion of the slide member, according as the control portion of the slide member is moved from outside the casing, selectively connects together a combination of the fixed contacts.

    Abstract: A slide switch has a switch operating member at its upper surface which is slid back and forth for operating the slide switch. An adapter is provided for operating this slide switch from the side, and has a main body which has a base and clamp members extending from opposite sides of the base to define a space between them, the clamp members being adapted to grip the slide switch between them so as to secure the adapter on the top of the slide switch with the slide switch being held at least partly in the space between the clamp members. The adapter has an actuator pivotally fixed to the main body, and this actuator has a lever portion which protrudes out from the main body to the side and an actuation portion which, with the slide switch held between the clamp members, engages with the switch operating member of the slide switch, so as to slide it as the actuator is pivoted with respect to the main body.

    Abstract: In this coordinate inputting sheet, there are provided an X coordinate inputting sheet for detecting an X coordinate and a Y coordinate inputting sheet for detecting a Y coordinate. These X coordinate and Y coordinate inputting sheets are laid together with their conducting surfaces mutually confronting one another. An insulating projection is provided between the X coordinate inputting sheet and the Y coordinate inputting sheet in order to space apart their opposing conducting surfaces. Auxiliary electrodes extend substantially along equipotential directions of at least one of the X and Y coordinate inputting sheets adjacent to the insulating projection.

    Abstract: A coordinate input sheet for use in a coordinate digitizer apparatus has at least one auxiliary electrode disposed between and in parallel with main electrodes provided at opposite ends of a resistance surface. The auxiliary electrode is used to either measure a voltage at its respective position which can be used to correct point contact data generated by said sheet or to apply a voltage to said sheet so that point data generated by said sheet is correct.
