  • Patent number: 11960939
Abstract: A management computer manages a data processing infrastructure including a server that executes a job and a storage device that is coupled to the server via a network and stores data used for processing in accordance with the job. The management computer includes a disc and a CPU. The disc stores maximum resource amount information, path information, and load information. The CPU computes a free resource amount of components forming a path to data related to execution of a predetermined job, based on the maximum resource amount information, the path information, and the load information and determines a parallelizable number in a parallel executable processing unit when the predetermined job is executing in the server, based on the free resource amount.

  • Publication number: 20240086951
Abstract: A satisfaction level calculation device (10) acquires environmental data detected by each of a plurality of environment sensors (20). The satisfaction level calculation device (10) sets each of a plurality of indexes about a space environment as a target index. The satisfaction level calculation device (10) calculates, from the environmental data acquired by measuring the target index, an individual satisfaction level, which is a satisfaction level of the target index. The satisfaction level calculation device (10) calculates, from the individual satisfaction level about each of the plurality of indexes, an overall satisfaction level, which is an overall satisfaction level about the space environment.

  • Patent number: 7133611
Abstract: If a repeater supervisory control (SV), a pre-emphasis automatic adjustment (PE), a receiving side threshold value automatic adjustment (Vth), a transmitting side dispersion compensation value setting (VDC(T)), and a receiving side dispersion compensation value setting (VDC(R)) are executed for an optical main signal, these controls are executed in the above described priority order. Accordingly, if the controls are independently executed, or if two or more controls simultaneously occur, a control with a higher priority is executed. In this way, a transmission quality of an optical signal is prevented from being badly influenced as a result that the controls are simultaneously executed.
