  • Publication number: 20070196260
Abstract: The present invention relate to a method for producing a transition metal ion bridging positive electrode material, wherein a mono-valent transition metal complex ion is intercalated into an interlayer space of layered transition metal oxide containing therein an alkali metal complex ion. The method of the present invention provides safe and simple operation without using acid and organic compound required in the prior art. The method of the present invention also provides an advantageous method in terms of cost performance by employing the procedure for producing a positive electrode via the layered transition metal oxide containing alkali metal complex ion within the layers, preferably via the layered manganese oxide buserite.

  • Patent number: 6319485
Abstract: A magnetic material made up of an assembly of particles substantially consisting of an &agr;″-Fe16N2 crystal having a body-centered tetragonal system (bct). The magnetic material has a high saturated magnetic flux density and is directly synthesized by reacting fine particles of &agr;-Fe and a nitrogen-containing gas at a temperature of 200° C. or lower. By the synthesis of this invention, &agr;″-Fe16N2, which is a metastable compound conventionally deposited accompanied with phase transformation of crystallization from a martensite phase of &agr;′-Fe(N), is obtained as an isolated bulk substance in a single phase.

  • Patent number: 5043762
Abstract: A copy system includes a combination of a tablet and an input pen for inputting copy condition information such as a control condition and an editing condition, and a copying machine for forming a copy image in accordance with a copy condition information as inputted. An IC card insertion portions are respectively formed on the tablets and the copying machine. When the control condition, for example, a copy quantity and a copy magnification, and the editing condition, for example, an editing function and a positional data are inputted by the input pen and the tablet in the state where the IC card is loaded to the tablet, the inputted copy condition information is stored in the IC card. Thereafter, the IC card is unloaded from the tablet and inserted to the copying machine. The copy condition information is led from the inserted IC card to the copying machine.

In the state that an IC card is loaded to the tablet, when a control condition, for example, a copy quantity and copy magnification and/or an editing condition, for example, editing function and positional data are inputted by operating the tablet by means of the input pen, the inputted image forming condition is stored into the IC card. Thereafter, by unloading the IC card from the tablet and loading the same into a copying machine, a copying image of an original is formed by the copying machine in accordance with the image forming condition read out from the IC card.

  • Patent number: 4949134
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an intermediate tray wherein a copied paper on which an image has been formed is stored. In the case of a double-face copy, the copied paper is stored in the intermediate tray in a manner that a surface on which an image has been formed is faced upward and, in the case of a multi-copy, the copied paper is stored in the intermediate tray in a manner that a surface on which an image has been formed is faced downward. The intermediate tray has two movable guide members which sandwiches the copied paper stored in the intermediate tray in a width direction thereof. The movable guide members are moved so as to go and come back once at every timing when a sheet of copied paper is stored in the intermediate tray, whereby both side ends of the copied paper are pushed by the movable guide members to be aligned.

  • Patent number: 4764789
Abstract: An apparatus for inputting image forming condition includes a display having item displaying portion in which a plurality of items of image forming condition for controlling image forming process are respectively displayed for each item and cursor displaying portion in which a plurality of cursors are formed so as to correspond to the respective items. A desired one of a plurality of cursors included in the cursor displaying portion is selectively displayed by a cursor key. When a given item is designated by the cursor key and a change key is operated in that state, content of that item is changed for every operations of the change key. The content lastly changed is inputted as image forming condition of that item.

  • Patent number: 4645328
Abstract: An apparatus for scanning an original includes a light source which is supported by a carriage movable in a scanning direction. A shield member is formed on the carriage. A first photointerrupter is provided at a home position of the carriage and a second photointerrupter is provided to a moving direction therefrom. When a forward going of the carriage is started from the home position and continued by a distance corresponding to the size of paper and/or the copy magnification, the light source is turned off and the carriage starts a returning movement. During the returning movement, the carriage travels further as far as the prescribed distance after the second photointerrupter being shielded by the shield member, thereafter a braking is applied on the carriage.

  • Patent number: 4564288
Abstract: An electrostatic recording apparatus such as an electrophotographic copying machine includes a mobile light source being able to move reciprocatively and exposing an original copy at its forward going motion. Reflected light from the original copy exposed by the light source produces an image on a photosensitive drum through an image-forming lens, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive drum. This electrostatic latent image is developed with a toner to form a visible image, and the toner image is transferred onto a paper fed from a paper feeding part. Papers of different sizes can be fed from the paper feeding part, and in response to this paper size, data such as moving speed and moving distance of the light source are read from the ROM, being given to a motor controller. As a function of the paper size, different returning speed data are set in advance, and accordingly, the light source can return at a speed responding to the paper size.
