  • Patent number: 8744970
Abstract: In an information communication system, user personal information is batch-managed in a user management center apparatus. The center apparatus issues temporary information, which includes temporary user information and temporary authentication information, in response to a log-in request from a user terminal apparatus that designates a net-shop apparatus, and sends the information to the user terminal apparatus and the designated net-shop apparatus. Thereby, if the user terminal apparatus sends an authentication request to the net-shop apparatus on the basis of the information, the net-shop apparatus can authenticate the user terminal apparatus on the basis of the information from the user management center apparatus. At this time, the user personal information does not go to the net-shop apparatus, and there is no need for the net-shop apparatus to manage the user personal information.

  • Publication number: 20140047493
Abstract: In a transport stream distribution system, a transmission rate control unit takes in an IP packet output from an IP transmission processing unit, obtains a TTS to be added to an arbitrary TS packet in the IP packet, and compares the TTS with a time stamp generated internally to determine whether both of them coincide with each other or not. And if they coincide with each other, the system takes in a TTS of the next TS packet, and otherwise, the system obtains a difference between a time indicating the TTS and the time indicating the internally generated time stamp to calculate a transmission rate correction value equivalent to the value of the difference, and issues the calculated correction value to the processing unit to correct a transmission rate.

  • Publication number: 20120119483
Abstract: When distributing an encrypted content to a user terminal apparatus via a communication line, a distribution center apparatus requires a medium ID of an information storage medium, and encrypts a decryption key of the encrypted content by using the corresponding medium ID to transmit the encrypted decryption key to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus downloads to store the encrypted content, receives the encrypted key to decrypt it in the use of the medium ID of the storage medium and to decrypt the encrypted content by using the decryption key. In such a system, the center apparatus provides print information corresponding to view conditions of a distributed content to the terminal apparatus in response to the request therefrom, and the terminal apparatus makes the print information appropriately printable by means of a printer.

  • Patent number: 7900232
Abstract: A broadcast signal received by a broadcast signal reception unit is separated into program contents and program information by a broadcast signal separation unit. The separated program contents is converted into Internet Protocol (IP) packets by a contents transmission unit then distributed to an IP network. A program information transmission unit converts the separated program information into the IP packets then distributes the IP packets by setting an IP connection differing from that of the transmission unit. A terminal device receives the program contents by a contents reception unit to supply it to a program contents reproduction unit. The program information received by a program information reception unit is stored in a program information memory and output to a display in response to an output request.

  • Publication number: 20100031018
Abstract: A user terminal device specifies presence or absence of additional recording in issuing a content request, and in the case of additional recording, the device transmits medium information and encrypted information of pre-recorded contents to a delivery center. When receiving a content additional recording request from the device, the delivery center decrypts once encrypted contents to be additionally recorded with the corresponding-content keys. The encrypted key information is decrypted by the medium information from the device to decrypt content keys of the pre-recorded contents and re-encrypts encrypted contents to be additionally recorded to deliver the re-encrypted contents to the device. When receiving contents for additional recording, the device records the received contents so as to be related to the pre-recorded contents, on a recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20090077596
Abstract: It is assumed that a reception processing unit receives a broadcast program in accordance with tuning based on the user's specification. In this state, a non-viewable state detection processing unit monitors occurrence of a non-viewable state from an acquisition state of reception data. When the non-viewable state occurs due to a certain factor, a non-viewable state accumulation unit accumulates information on the non-viewable state. When the factor of a viewing interruption is solved and a user makes a request for service provision, the processing unit connects to a distribution apparatus to report content of the non-viewable state, and receives distribution of a relevant content, thereby the processing unit becomes able to recontinue interrupted broadcast content.
