  • Patent number: 7327791
Abstract: A moving image coded string is mapped with a set of information areas as one packet, and each packet is added with an error code and control information in a multiplexing part so that it is decided at the receiving side, from the result of error detection by decoding the error detection code, whether an error has occurred in each information area of the packet.

  • Patent number: 7295163
Abstract: Disclosed is a wideband antenna having a reference conductor and radiation conductor, which are disposed so as to face one another. A substance whose relative permeability is in a range of about 1 though 8 in an operational radio frequency is interposed between the portions of the reference conductor and radiation conductor that face one another. A feed is operatively coupled to the radiation conductor and provides a radio frequency transmission signal thereto. The feed has a tapered shape, which progressively widens as the feed approaches the radiation conductor.

  • Publication number: 20070230670
Abstract: In an elevator monitoring system, an operation monitoring device receives operating condition data from a group management control device, and causes a monitor to display operating conditions of a plurality of elevators. An interphone base unit is connected to the operation monitoring device such that mutual communication can be established therebetween. The operation monitoring device can cause the monitor to display communication states of interphone handset units based on information on the communication states of the interphone handset units which has been received from the interphone base unit, and can input thereto channel select information for selecting one of the interphone handset units to communicate with. The interphone base unit can transmit the communication state information to the operation monitoring device, and can make a changeover in the states of connection with the interphone handset units based on the channel select information received from the operation monitoring device.

  • Publication number: 20070176828
Abstract: An unbalanced antenna having a radiation conductor and a ground conductor provided with a predetermined gap therebetween is provided. At least a predetermined part of the ground conductor, the predetermined part being opposed to the radiation conductor, is left so that it keeps functioning as a pole for forming a near electromagnetic-field distribution together with the radiation conductor opposed to the ground conductor. Further, a part of the reduced ground conductor, the part being near an end at a predetermined distance from the feed section, includes a conductor having low conductivity for obtaining impedance matching. Where the ground conductor is significantly reduced, mode mismatch inevitably occurs. Therefore, at least one part of an external conductor of a coaxial feed line connected to the feed section is covered by a current absorber, so as to forcefully reduce a leakage current. Subsequently, the ground conductor can be reduced and the antenna characteristic can be maintained.

  • Publication number: 20070172138
Abstract: A coded bit stream generated on a coding side consists of a VO header, a VOL header, a GOV header, a VOP header and VOP data, and the VOL header multiplexes an object intra-coded indicator signal indicating whether all the VOP data contained in a VOL or GOV are intra coded or not. This enables a decoding side to recognize whether all the VOP data contained in the VOL or GOV in the coded bit stream are intra coded or not by only analyzing the object intra-coded indicator signal. This can facilitate such processings as frame skip control or random access of the VOPs.

  • Patent number: 7202820
Abstract: Disclosed is a wideband antenna with a lowered standing wave ratio. The wideband antenna interposes a substance whose conductivity is about 0.1 through 10.0 as an interposition between a reference conductor and a radiation conductor; and thereby, the antenna reduces reflections of signals, and achieves a wider bandwidth as well as a sufficient gain with a lowered standing wave ratio. Also, the invention realizes a thin-type wideband antenna with a wider bandwidth and a sufficient gain, by interposing a magnetic substance whose relative permeability is more than 1 through about 8 as the interposition between the reference conductor and the radiation conductor.
