  • Patent number: 6170644
Abstract: An endless belt rotates between a tail pulley and a head pulley. The belt is floated in a tubular belt support by blowing air out of air blowing bores of the belt support, and runs from the tail pulley to the head pulley. A ultra-high molecular polyethylene layer is applied on the inner circumferential surface of the belt support, opposing to the belt, thereby assuring smooth running of the belt.

  • Patent number: 5765678
Abstract: By employing a simple structure, the invention provides a conveyor belt which can detect overload and can be easily applied to an existing conveyor belt. Further, detection of twisting and slippage of the conveyor belt can be obtained. Specifically, an overload can be detected by measuring a load of an orthogonal direction with respect to a rotation axis of shape-maintaining rollers by a load cell installed on a bracket. Further, twisting of the conveyor belt can be also detected by measuring a load of an axial direction with respect to the rotation axis of the shape-maintaining rollers.

  • Patent number: 5293988
Abstract: A twist correction device for a pipe conveyor having an endless transfer belt whose at least part is rounded in a pipe shape enclosing therein a material to be transferred. The device includes a plurality of correction rollers obliquely inclined relative to the transfer direction of the transfer belt and in pressure contact with the outer circumferential surface of the pipe-shaped transfer belt to apply correcting force to the belt for correcting twisting of the belt. The device further includes two roller support frames supporting the plurality of correction rollers and pivotally connected to a stationary support frame rotatably about axes perpendicular to the transfer direction of the transfer belt. The device includes an angle adjusting device provided on the stationary support frame for adjusting rotated angles of the roller support frames about the axes, thereby correcting twisting of the pipe-shaped transfer belt. The angle adjusting device is manually driven or automatically power driven.
