  • Patent number: 6849136
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a filler metal for an aluminum brazing sheet for heat exchangers capable of preventing or controlling occurrence of a melting hole during heating for brazing, and a method of manufacturing the same. In an Al—Si alloy filler metal which is clad on the aluminum brazing sheet and melted during heating for brazing, the maximum particle diameter of a coarse Si particle crystallized in the eutectic structure of the filler metal is 20 ?m or less. Provided that an average value and a standard deviation in a normal distribution of the particle diameter of the coarse Si particle in the filler metal are respectively ? and ?, (?+3?) is preferably 10 ?m or less. This brazing sheet is obtained by a method of adding a specific amount of Na, Sr, or Sb to the filler metal, a method of limiting the amount of impurities in the filler metal within a specific range, a method of specifying a cooling rate during the casting of the filler metal, or the like.

  • Patent number: 5978060
Abstract: An object of the invention is to solve the problem that a pitch of a connection terminal is limited and a circuit size is enlarged by itself in the case where a Com-PWB and a Seg-PWB provided along a side of the liquid crystal display panel are connected via the flexible flat cable. The Com-PWB is provided approximately in parallel along one side of the liquid crystal display panel on the voltage application terminal side of the scanning electrode while the Seg-PWB is provided approximately in parallel along the other side of the liquid crystal display panel on the voltage application terminal side of the data electrode. The Com-PWB has a length nearly equal to that of the one side of the liquid crystal display panel while the Seg-PWB has a length nearly equal to that of the other side of the liquid crystal display panel. The Com-PWB and the Seg-PWB are electrically connected with an FPC.

  • Patent number: 5415710
Abstract: The aluminum alloy of the invention has excellent fatigue strength, high rigidity, and low thermal expansion coefficient, and is suitable for rotating components such as conrods in an internal combustion engine. The aluminum alloy is an Al-Si alloy which contains 7.0-12.0% wt. Si, 3.0-6.0 % wt. Cu, 0.20-1.0% wt. Mg, 0.30-1.5% wt. Mn, 0.40-2.0% wt. Ti+V, 0.05-0.5% wt. Zr, and the remainder Al and being inevitable impurities and which contains a dispersed intermetallic compound of average particle size of 0.5 m or less and containing Ti, V, and Zr. The alloy is preferably manufactured by the rapidly solidifying powder metallurgy process, or by the spray-forming process. By selecting a work-hardening exponent of 0.20 or less, the thread rolling workability is improved.
