  • Publication number: 20110128964
Abstract: An asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) connection band control system, in an ATM network, may include a first memory, a second, different memory, and a connection-setting control portion. The first memory may store, in a buffer control memory, band acquiring data of a connection, the first memory preliminarily acquiring a connection band for the connection, irrespective of the connection being a switched virtual connection (SVC) or a permanent virtual connection (PVC). The second, different memory may store acquired band data of a currently established connection, irrespective of the currently established connection being a PVC or an SVC. The connection-setting control portion may control a setting of the currently established connection, where a band for the currently established connection, irrespective of the currently established connection being a PVC or an SVC, is preliminarily set as the band acquiring data.

  • Patent number: 7660237
Abstract: A switching unit (1011) receives video data (103) sent from a device (102), and sends an ATM cell synchronized with the clock to switching units (1012-1014) by a signal (including optical data) containing a frequency component serving as a synchronous clock supply source. If a fault occurs midway along a line, the switching unit (1012) which detects the fault sends an AIS cell to an OAM connection (109). The termination switching unit (1014) switches a port f for receiving a synchronous clock to a port g, and sends back an RDI cell. The switching units (1013, 1012) which have received the RDI cell switch the synchronous clock to ports e and c and receive it, thus obtaining an identical clock.

  • Publication number: 20090135830
Abstract: An asynchronous transfer mode connection band control system in a system for transmitting and receiving an asynchronous transfer mode cell utilizing an asynchronous transfer mode network, has data storage means for storing a connection band of a preferential switched virtual connection having high preference in the asynchronous transfer mode network being stored preliminarily as a band acquiring data and storing acquired band data of a switched virtual connection currently established connection, and connection band control means for performing control of connection band on the basis of a total number of bands derived by a sum of the band acquiring data and the acquired band data stored in the data storage means.

  • Patent number: 7477645
Abstract: An asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) connection band control system in an ATM network may include a memory to store band acquiring data associated with one or more preferential switched virtual connections (SVCs) having high preference in the ATM network. The band acquiring data may include band data for preliminarily acquiring a band for the one or more preferential SVCs. The ATM connection band control system may also include a control portion to perform connection admission control such that a band for one of the preferential SVCs with band acquiring data in the memory is guaranteed regardless of whether a connection for the one of the preferential SVCs is established, and the band for the one of the preferential SVCs is available to a non-preferential SVC when the connection for the one of the preferential SVCs is not established.

  • Patent number: 6870924
Abstract: A method and system for automatically distributing calls from calling parties to agents in a telephonic service provider facility, in which a database associates specific calling parties with specific agents. An identifier of a calling party is compared to identifiers in the database and the calling party is connected to the agent with whom the calling party has been associated if the identifier matches one in the database. If the identifier of the calling party does not match one of the identifiers in the database, a voice message is provided to the calling party to urge the calling party to provide a further identifier, which is then compared to the identifiers in the database. If the further identifier matches one of the identifiers in the database, the calling party is connected to the agent with whom the calling party has been associated.

  • Patent number: 6144728
Abstract: A telephone system uses a called station ID data decided by a called station and informed to a specified calling station, which stores the ID data. When a call is received in the called station, the called station forwards the ID data, against which the calling station compares the ID data stored in the calling station. If both the ID data coincide with each other, the calling station delivers the telephone number of the calling station to the called station for display. This prevents the telephone number of the calling station from being open to a third party when a wrong call is made from the calling station.
