Abstract: Disclosed are a method for enabling information to be provided by calling from an information provider (IP) while preserving user anonymity, and a service server for implementing the same. A user dials a special number followed by an IP number for connection to the IP, and when connected, hears about the contents and fees of information; when the connection with the IP is cut off, a connection between the service server and the user is made to inquire whether he has the intention of entering into a contract. When the user confirmed his intention to enter into the contract, a user number is assigned to the user, and the assigned number is stored in the service server and, at the same time, reported to the IP. The IP can provide information, while preserving the anonymity of the user, by dialing a special number followed by the user number.

Abstract: Thermoplastic resin composition comprising the following components A and B is presented which improves the compatibility of component resins, to achieve a thermoplastic resin having excellent molding property and mechanical strength:A. 90 to 10 wt % of a polyolefin resin containing a substituted silyl group represented by general formula;--SiR.sub.n Y.sub.3-n(wherein, R is aliphatic hydrocarbon group; Y is hydrolyzable group or hydroxyl group; n represents 0, 1 or 2), andB. 10 to 90 wt % of saturated polyester resin or hydroxyalkylated polycarbonate resin or hydroxyalkylated polyphenylene ether resin.

Abstract: A polymer prepared by subjecting to conditions of radical graft polymerization a copolymer of an .alpha.-olefin and an aliphatic nonconjugated diene and a monomer that is capable of radical polymerization with said copolymer is described. This polymer has high miscibility with a dissimilar resin and has a high practical value for use as a compatibilizing agent in blending two or more resins.

Abstract: A resin composition is described, comprising (a) a polyphenylene ether resin having a low degree of polymerization or a mixture thereof with a styrene resin, (b) a polyolefin resin, and (c) a styrene compound/conjugated diene block copolymer or a hydrogenation product thereof at a specific compounding ratio. The composition is excellent in melt processability, stiffness at elevated temperatures, and impact strength.

Abstract: A composition comprising a polyphenylene ether, a polystyrene, a polyphenylene ether-grafted polyolefin and, optionally, a polystyrene-grafted polyolefin is disclosed. This composition has excellent impact resistance and, due to dispersion phase being a crystalline resin, an excellent rigidity.
