    Abstract: A contactless identification system and an antenna coil capable of reliable transmission with multiple tags without a requirement of uniform distance from tag to antenna. The system also permits differing tag versus antenna planar orientations during tag passage through the antenna opening. The system creates a contactless identification system with a shaped antenna coil having an opening at the center, whereby the antenna section is transferred or varied in position or orientation with respect to piled objects with attached tags, so that the objects pass through the opening, producing transmission between the antenna coil and each of the tags.
