  • Patent number: 7176802
Abstract: A radio IC tag reader includes an antenna capable of conducting radio communications with an IC tag on which predetermined data is recorded, the IC tag being attached to an article. An antenna sheath for housing the antenna is formed as a flat body and both sides of the flat body are placed in an open state.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 3, 2003
Date of Patent: February 13, 2007
    Assignee: Omron Corporation
    Inventors: Shinichiro Fukuoka, Hidemi Nakamura
  • Patent number: 7088246
Abstract: A collision prevention relational function is disclosed for RFID tags, which increases stability during system operations. The RFID tag includes a parallel resonance circuit having a coil, a resonance capacitor, an adjustment capacitor, a switching circuit, a rectification circuit, a smoothing capacitor, a constant-voltage circuit, a voltage detection circuit, an exclusive OR circuit, a timer circuit, a voltage detection circuit, a control circuit, an OR circuit, a latch circuit, an UID storage device, and a data modulator/demodulator. When a predetermined power supply voltage/operating voltage is obtained, an anti-collision algorithm identifies and adjusts RFID tags that experienced collision.

  • Publication number: 20040085208
Abstract: In an article management system, a noncontact electronic tag storing tag data is attached to an article managed in a management area, a passage radio communication unit that can communicate with the noncontact electronic tag is installed in a passage section leading to the management area, and the passage radio communication unit communicates with the noncontact electronic tag to the article passing through the passage section. The tag data stored in the noncontact electronic tag can be read in tag access processing that can be executed by the passage radio communication unit.

  • Patent number: 5274220
Abstract: A data carrier according to the present invention writes a signal of a duty ratio corresponding to write data from a resonance circuit at the time of writing data using a shift register as a memory, causes the shift register to store the data, and then holds the data as a circulation mode. Then, the data held in the shift register is externally read out based on identification codes. In this way, a data carrier of a small storage capacity is made with a relatively simple structure.
