  • Publication number: 20180368806
Abstract: According to one embodiment, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a main body housing, an arm, a device, a table, and an avoiding mechanism. The arm is mounted to the main body housing so as to be capable of ascending and descending and pivotable about a predetermined axis. The device is supported by the arm so as to be capable of ascending and descending and pivotable according to the movement of the arm. The table has a surface which is positioned in a descending direction of the arm and the device, and an object is placed on the surface. The avoiding mechanism changes a relative position between the object and a support position of ascending and descending movement of the arm such that interference between the object and at least one of the arm and the device due to the descending movement of the arm is avoided.
