  • Publication number: 20240045087
Abstract: A neutron detection element 100 includes: a neutron detector configured to detect a neutron and convert the neutron into an electrical signal; and an amplifier configured to amplify an output of the neutron detector. The neutron detector includes: a semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type; a detector diffusion layer of a second conductivity type in the semiconductor layer; and a neutron conversion layer on the detector diffusion layer. The neutron conversion layer converts a neutron into an ?-ray. The amplifier includes a plurality of transistors in the semiconductor layer. The neutron conversion layer is a metal film including a layer containing boron 10 or a layer containing lithium 6.

  • Publication number: 20180358530
Abstract: A heat absorbing element 20 of a thin-film Peltier type is thermally connected with a surface of a semiconductor element body portion 10 through a heat conducting layer 15 which is an electrical insulator. The heat absorbing element 20 is comprised of a substance having a bulk thermal conductivity of 50 W/mK or more and a Seebeck coefficient of 300 ?V/K or more.

  • Patent number: 4110596
Abstract: The apparatus for transporting and collecting self-propelled carriages for carrying out fillet welding of a construction in the rectangular form has carriages adapted to move along rails extending in the longitudinal direction which rails are in turn movable in the transverse direction, extension ladders each suspended by the respective carriages through rotating means so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis, clamp jaws each supported by the respective extension ladders. The clamp jaws are adapted to releasably clamp the respective self-propelled carriages so that the carriages are lifted and swivelled to assume orientation required for the fillet welding in the desired direction and again lowered and released from the clamp jaws thereby permitting the fillet welding of a construction in the rectangular form in different regions.
