  • Patent number: 8565097
Abstract: It is intended to provide a frame transfer apparatus for transferring an LLDP frame to reduce a traffic load of the LLDP frame periodically sent for survival confirmation. The frame transfer apparatus within a network sends the LLDP frame by converting a TTL of the LLDP frame to be transferred to its maximum value of 65535. Also, the frame transfer apparatus makes the survival confirmation for a terminal, and sends as proxy the LLDP frame in which the TTL is set to 0, in place of the terminal, at a moment of expiration of the TTL, whereby the disconnection of the terminal from the network is appropriately notified to the other terminals. Thereby, the load of the LLDP frame periodically sent for survival confirmation within the network can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8551223
Abstract: Unburned carbon is efficiently removed from fly ash, and effective utilization of the fly ash and removed unburned carbon is attained. Water is added to fly ash to thereby obtain a slurry. A collector is added to the slurry, and shearing force is applied to the slurry and collector to thereby attain a surface modification. The mixture is subjected to flotation operation at which unburned carbon of fly ash is attached to froths and surfaced. The application of shearing force to the slurry and collector can be carried out by means of a submerged agitator whereby an agitation power of 0.7 to 10 kWh/m3 is applied per unit quantity of slurry. The fly ash concentration of the slurry is in the range of 3 to 50 wt. %, and the amount of collector added is in the range of 5 to 100 wt. % based on the amount of unburned carbon of fly ash. The unburned carbon separated by flotation can be used as fuel, and the fly ash (product) having its unburned carbon content reduced to 1 wt.

  • Patent number: 8300526
Abstract: The present invention provides a network relay apparatus capable of assuring the prevention of occurrence of order reversion of packets within flows and shifting a packet distribution destination according to load information. The network relay apparatus includes: a packet distribution processor for distributing input packets to thereby achieve load dispersion of packet processing; a statistical information collector for regularly collecting load conditions of respective packet processors; and a distribution information holder for retaining information for specifying the packet distribution destinations upon distribution of the packets. Information about the load conditions of the respective packet processors are compiled and distributed to the packet processor smallest in load.
