Abstract: A device for removing a rubber tire from a metal wheel is capable of efficiently removing the tire from the wheel without damaging the tire. The device includes a working table for positioning the wheel fitted with the tire, and a press mechanism arranged above the working table for vertical movement relative to the working table. The press mechanism has a press disc having a sectionally truncated conical tapered hole with a plurality of rim depressing projections extending in an axial direction and arranged at given intervals in the circumferential direction on the inner periphery thereof, and means for vertically moving the press disc.
