  • Patent number: 6660556
Abstract: A sealing film is used for sealing a solar cell, and including an EVA film formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. The sealing film has concavities formed by embossing. A percentage defined by VH/VA×100% is in a range from 20% to 50%, wherein VH is the total volume of the concavities per unit area of the sealing film, and VA is the apparent volume of the sealing film which is the product of the maximum thickness of the film and the unit area.

  • Publication number: 20020179139
Abstract: A sealing film for sealing a solar cell is provided which can effectively prevent solar cells from being damaged, prevent inferior deaeration, and prevent resin of the layers from flashing during a sealing integration process of manufacturing a solar battery. The sealing film is composed of a film formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. The film is processed by an embossing treatment to have concavities. A percentage defined by VH/VA×100% is in a range from 5% to 80%, wherein VH is the total volume of the concavities per unit area of the film and VA is the apparent volume of the film which is the product of the maximum thickness of the film and unit area. A solar battery is manufactured by laminating a front-side transparent protective member 11, A sealing film for sealing a solar cell 13A, the solar cells 14, another layer for sealing solar cells 13B, and a back-side transparent protective member 12 to make a laminated body, and pressurizing and heating the laminated body to be integrated.

  • Patent number: 6309138
Abstract: Paving materials having excellent durability supplied to a front spreading screw 5 is prevented from dropping onto the center band of a road by a bottom plate 30, and by the rotation of the front spreading screw 5 is spread onto the two bands of the road where the left and right tires of cars make contact. In contrast, an ordinary paving materials supplied to rear spreading screw 7 is prevented from dropping onto the bands of the road with which the left and right tires of cars make contact by means of the bottom plates 32, 33 and is spread onto the center band and the outside bands of the road by the rotation of the rear spreading screw 7. Two types of paving materials spread and formed into alternating bands in this way are laid and paved at the same time by the screed 9, and as a result, a pavement with high durability can be constructed at low cost.

  • Patent number: 6135671
Abstract: The invention relates to a paving materials loading apparatus. In particular, a paving materials loading feeder 16 is so disposed that a lower end 19a of a loading frame 19 thereof is connected to a receiving hopper 17, a discharge port 19c, 19d is formed in a middle part of the loading frame 19 between the lower end 19a and a discharge end 19b, and a lid 35 is provided on the discharge port 19c, 19d so as to be openable and closable. The loading feeder 16 may also be raised and lowered. The invention also relates to a paving machine provided with a front hopper 2 and a rear hopper 3, on a self-propelled vehicle 1. In particular, the paving materials loading apparatus of the above construction is mounted on the self-propelled vehicle 1 so that the discharge port 19c, 19d of the loading feeder 16 is located above the front hopper 2 and the discharge end 19b of the loading feeder 16 is located above the rear hopper 3.
