  • Patent number: 11942066
Abstract: Provided is a transmitter for musical instrument and a mode switching method thereof. A transmitter for musical instrument which is mounted on an electric guitar determines the electric guitar is in a not-in-use state when a continuation time in which a square sum of accelerations output from a three-axis acceleration sensor is smaller than a power-saving threshold value is longer than a power-saving transition time, and the transmitter transitions from a normal mode to an energy-saving mode. On the other hand, when the accelerations in the energy-saving mode becomes equal to or greater than a release threshold value from a state of being smaller than the release threshold value or becomes equal to or smaller than the release threshold value from a state of being greater than the release threshold value, the electric guitar is returned from the energy-saving mode to the normal mode.

  • Patent number: 11688373
Abstract: Provided are an electric musical instrument system and a control method thereof. The electric musical instrument system includes a musical sound transmitting means and a musical sound receiving means having a first mode and a second mode that consumes less electric power than the first mode. The musical sound transmitting means has a detecting means for detecting rocking of a musical instrument and a transmitting means that transmits an audio signal emitted from the musical instrument to the musical sound receiving means in the first mode and transmits, when detecting rocking of the musical instruments, detected information to the musical sound receiving means in the second mode. The musical sound receiving means has a controlling means that processes the audio signal received in the first mode and cancels the second mode and changes the mode to the first mode when the detected information is received in the second mode.

  • Patent number: 8278884
Abstract: A DC-DC converter including a power supply supplying direct current (DC) to an inductor, a switching device controlling the supply of DC from the power supply to the inductor by switching between a conductive state and a disconnected state according to a modulation signal, a signal output device generating the modulation signal for increasing or decreasing a period of the conductive state of the switching device, wherein the signal output device increases or decreases a duty ratio of the modulation signal to increase or decrease the period of the conductive state of the switching device, and a delay device controlling an increase of a duty ratio of the modulation signal, wherein the signal output device outputs the modulation signal with the controlled duty ratio to the switching device, thereby delaying the switching device from reaching a conductive state in which the duty ratio is a value of 1.

  • Patent number: 7840014
Abstract: An acoustic system that eliminates the howling that occurs when the sound outputted by the speaker feeds back to the input device. The acoustic system comprises a digital signal processor (DSP) that divides the input audio signal into different frequency bands, and reduces the audio levels for the frequency bands where howling is most likely to occur. In one embodiment, the acoustic system comprises a sound source section that generates a test tone that substantially covers the entire human audible range such that the DSP can set the filter levels according to the feedback of the test tone. In another embodiment, the sound source section stores one waveform at a given pitch and generates waveforms of other pitches based on the stored waveform. In yet another embodiment, the pitches of the generated waveforms are dispersed into four frequency bands to create a test tone that resembles a chord or a musical tone.
