  • Patent number: 10889095
Abstract: Metal plates are placed on opposed surfaces of two heating plates, the metal plates are heated. Then, a hollow plate is placed between the two heating plates, and the two heating plates are moved toward each other. The metal plates, which are heated to a high temperature, are bonded to the outer surfaces of the hollow plate by thermal fusion caused by the heat of the metal plates. After the metal plates are brought into planar contact with the hollow plate, the heating plates are moved away from each other. The heating plates sandwich the hollow plate only for a very short time. Thus, the heat of the heating plates is not transferred excessively to the hollow plate.

  • Patent number: 8919864
Abstract: An adjustable air diffuser is disposed in an airflow channel into which a travelling wind is directed through an opening provided in a bumper face. The diffuser opens and closes the channel by movable louver blades driven by an actuator. An upper part of the diffuser is disposed to face a rear wall of the bumper face and is attached to a bumper beam extending along a vehicle width direction. A lower part of the diffuser is attached to a vehicle body structural member. The attachment structure includes a column that is disposed behind the adjustable air diffuser. A lower end of the column is attached to a lower end of the adjustable air diffuser. Weak portions are provided on the column such that the column breaks when the column interferes with another member behind the column.

  • Publication number: 20090031783
Abstract: Drop test apparatus, for performing a drop impact test by dropping an article to be tested on a landing surface in a free fall state and by colliding the article with the landing surface, is equipped with a holder for holding the article and an acceleration means for accelerating the holder. The holder with the article is accelerated in the dropping direction of the article by the acceleration means, and the article is released from the holder at the point when the holder is accelerated to a predetermined speed and is dropped to the landing surface. The reproducibility of the test can be enhanced due to an elimination of an unstable factor such as frictional resistance when the holder is dropped, and a higher test in a dropping height without scaling-up the apparatus can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20060173009
Abstract: Osteoporosis and the like metabolic bone diseases have a high frequency of causing lumbago and the like pains and bone fracture, due to lowering of the bone strength caused by the reduction of bone mass. Accordingly, great concern has been directed toward the creation of a drug which can increase the bone mass and bone strength by controlling the whole bone metabolism. The pharmaceutical composition or combination product of the invention comprising a non-living body-derived non-peptide osteoblast differentiation promoting compound and a bisphosphonate having a bone resorption inhibitory action is useful as a bone mass increasing inducer which can increase the bone mass and/or bone strength by controlling the bone metabolism.

  • Patent number: 6713924
Abstract: A three-phase brushless motor includes a rotor with a permanent magnet having P (P is an integer not less than two) polarities and a stator facing the rotor and having plural coils shaped in approx, triangle or trapezoid. A space between adjacent coils is (360/P)×(5/3) degree. Three position-detectors, which detect the position of the rotor, is placed at intervals of (360/P)×(2/3) degree in an area where no coils are placed. This structure allows the coils to be optimally shaped and placed, and realizes to reduce a number of coils as well as improve the motor characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20030146672
Abstract: Coils 1-3 of each phase are arranged symmetrically with regard to a rotary shaft of disc-shaped rotor 8, and form a pair of coils electrically coupled with each other. A manufacturing apparatus for a stator including these coils of a brushless motor is utilized for manufacturing the following stator: a number of coils in each phase is S/N pieces (N is an integer equal to or more than 2, and S/N is an integer), every component making up the stator including the coils are arranged in an area spanning 360/N degree with regard to the rotary shaft of disc-shaped rotor 8. The apparatus can manufacture N pieces of this stator simultaneously. As a result, the brushless motor and the manufacturing method can reduce a number of coils to 1/N as well as increase the productivity to N times.

  • Patent number: 5565953
Abstract: Extra printing is made possible during a set of ordinary processing operations such as film development and printing. A film is developed and dried while being fed by a leader attached thereto. After cutting the leader from the film, it is fed to the printing unit to print the images on the film onto photographic paper. A plurality of film stocking units are provided in a path from the film drying unit to the printing unit. Each stocking unit can selectively stock a single film or allow it to pass without stocking. A second film stocking unit can move laterally to change the film track. If a film requiring a long exposure time is present in the printing unit, the subsequent films that have been developed and dried can be stocked in the other film stocking units. Thus, continuous film developing operations are not interrupted.

  • Patent number: 5475463
Abstract: Various arrangements are proposed for coupling films to a leader. A hole is formed in one of the films and the leader to receive a tab which is formed on the other. These arrangements allow stable coupling of the films to the leader and easy uncoupling. They eliminate the use of splice tape.

  • Patent number: 5455653
Abstract: The films are developed and printed continuously and automatically even if the film feed direction in the film processor and the one in the printer are not in the same vertical plane. A film stocking unit is provided downstream of the film driving unit. The film stocking unit is movable to a position aligned with the film feed path extending to the printing unit. This increases the freedom or flexibility in arranging the film processor and the printer.
