  • Patent number: 10237310
Abstract: Provided is a method for controlling information shared in a virtual world by a server and a plurality of users' client terminals connected to each other through a network. In this information control method, a computer creates a third object between a first object and a second object in the virtual world when the first object and second object transmit communication information therebetween, and filters the information with the third object. In addition, when an object transmits visual information, the third object can be created around the object transmitting the visual information. The third object can be created as a pseudo wall.

  • Publication number: 20130143253
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for measuring the gastric acidity of a mammal using a 13C-labeled carbonate compound. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for measuring the gastric acidity of a mammal including the following steps: (1) using, as a test sample, expired air of a mammalian subject excreted at any point in time within 30 minutes after oral administration of a predetermined amount of a 13C-labeled carbonate compound, measuring behavior of 13CO2 in the expired air; (2) comparing the behavior of 13CO2 (measured 13CO2 behavior) obtained in step (1) with the behavior of corresponding 13CO2 (reference 13CO2 behavior) that has been obtained beforehand in a control mammal; and (3) determining the gastric acidity of the mammalian subject based on a difference between the reference 13CO2 behavior and the measured 13CO2 behavior obtained above.

  • Patent number: 6760007
Abstract: The present invention relates to an input method using the pointing device in which the pointing device's ON operation causes an application to recognize that the state of the pointing device has transitioned to an ON state and the pointing device's OFF operation causes the application to recognize that the state of the pointing device has transitioned to an OFF state. The input method includes responding to the ON operation of the pointing device maintained in a certain period and bringing about a latch state in which the pointing device remains in the ON state for the application even if the OFF operation of the pointing device has taken place; and executing a program for informing a user that the latch state has been brought about.
