  • Patent number: 5249155
Abstract: An n channel driver circuit comprised of an N channel MOS transistor is provided in parallel to a driver circuit comprised of a P channel MOS transistor. Normally, n channel driver circuit supplies an internal supply voltage, to activate driver circuit only at the time of current peak. Thus, an insufficient capability of n.sup.- channel driver circuit to supply current is supplemented.

  • Patent number: 5177375
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device comprising an internal reset circuit generating one shot pulse for resetting an internal circuit upon a power on. In the internal reset circuit, inputted to a two-input NOR gate are an output potential of an inverter inverting a first node coupled to a power supply through a capacitor, and an internal clock signal which level inverts at a predetermined timing after rising to a "H" level upon the power on. Then, the output of the NOR gate is applied to a second node in an internal circuit to be reset. The internal reset circuit outputs one shot pulses synchronizing with the first fall of the internal clock signal after the power on irrespective of a potential change rate of the first node after the power on. The first node is set to more easily attain a "H" level than the second node to be reset to a "L" level at the power on by adjusting characteristics of circuit elements connected to the first node and those of circuit elements connected to the second node.

  • Patent number: 5146429
Abstract: A semicondcutor memory device includes an array of a plurality of memory cells arranged in a matrix manner, and a row or column decoder responsive to an external address signal for generating a row or column selecting signal. The memory cell array comprises (n+1) rows or columns. The row or column decoder comprises n output nodes. Transmission gates are provided between the decoder output node and row lines or column selecting lines for connecting each output node and each row line or column selecting line. The transmission gates are formed of a pair of CMOS transmission gates, whereby one output node is connected to two adjacent row lines or column selecting lines. This memory device further includes a circuit defining the connection manner of the transmission gate. This defining circuit turns one pair of CMOS transmission gates ON and OFF complementally.

  • Patent number: 5095555
Abstract: A toilet seat has a heater connected to a controller for supplying heating current thereto via a first cable. A thermo-sensor in the toilet seat provides temperature signals to the controller via a second cable. The controller terminates the current to the heater upon the termination of signals from the thermo-sensor. The wires of the second cable have a diameter larger than those of the first cable, so that the wires of the second cable, which provide the temperature signal to the controller, will fail due to bending stresses upon repeated raising and lowering of the toilet seat, before the wires of the first cable. This will cause the controller to terminate the supply of current to the heater.

  • Patent number: 5084917
Abstract: A lavatory seat device includes lavatory seat accommodating a heater and a thermo-sensor for detecting a temperature thereof. First lead wires supply an electric current to the heater. Second lead wires convey a signal from the thermo-sensor. A control circuit controls the heater in response to the thermo-sensor in such a manner that the current supply of the heater is interrupted when the signal from the thermo-sensor becomes a set value or the cutting of the second lead wires is detected. A case has the control circuit therein. A first pivot portion of the lavatory seat has a hole through which the first and second lead wires extend. A second pivot portion of the case is fitting with the first pivot portion to pivot the lavatory seat. A holder holds the first and second lead wires in such a manner that the cutting of the first lead cannot occur prior to the cutting of the second lead wire.
